If I could give this a 3.5 star I would. I had high hopes for my meal, but unfortunately, we were let down. The starters were delicious and started the evening on a promising note, but the mains significantly fell short. The lasagne was disappointingly dry and lacked flavor, while the pork belly was just very average and didn’t stand out at all. On a brighter note, the sticky toffee pudding was fantastic, and the restaurant itself is a beautiful space. Sadly, despite the lovely setting and great starters, the underwhelming mains left me disappointed.

Terrible experience with the hostess, not wanting to close the patio doors when it was 11°C and blowing cold air on us. Had a very poor excuse as to why it had to stay open no consideration for guests  in the dining room that opted to be there because of Room temperature comfort. Will not be going back soon after that experience.

Disappointing tasting experience. If the waitress was pleasant, the manager at the bar was frankly not friendly. Tasting outside in the cold with wines, therefore, served too cold. We are not asked to go inside to drink something warm but we are suggested another place where the draft is less severe.... As a French woman and a wine lover, the wine is disappointing. The Pinot Noir is more like a strong Bordeaux, the Syrah a little better but too young. You are served two small glasses for 30 dollars (there is a cheaper formula at 15 dollars I believe with other wines) that you feel obliged to drink given the price... and the cost of the bottles is high compared to France. No one asks if we want information or advice on making a choice.... The icing on the cake is that you almost get angry because you don't buy a bottle... we went to other nicer houses.
positive point the setting is very beautiful and the design of the place is nice.

Yesturday I was able to take my parents that are in their 80s to enjoy a beautiful lunch on a perfect day. It was easy for my father to navigate with his walker around the property. The Two course meal was so delicious, my father had the steak, my Mother enjoyed the Salmon. We then finished it off with their famous sticky toffee pudding desert! The atmosphere and quality of lunch was outstanding! Thankyou

We had been wanting to try Homeblock for a long time and it did not disappoint! The food was innovative and balanced in flavors and the wine pairings just right. Being able to be comfortable on the heated terrace watching the sun go down with the fire pit in the foreground on a mild October evening was delight. Just lovely! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a night out. The room has the right balance of casual luxury. Service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

We normally love the two course lunch at Home Block. Today's meal didn't blow any of the 5 of us away. The salmon tartar was mashed and pretty flavorless and a disappointment to pay extra for. Overall it was not great value today unfortunately.

Home Block was a beautiful place to celebrate my recent birthday. The appetizer was light and flavourful with a delicious rosé wine pairing. Our main course, beef and mushroom with dumplings, was extremely filling. The cab merlot as a wine pairing was perfect. Our young server was very attentive. Unfortunately, we had no room for desert. My only complaint was that vegetables should have been part of the main course rather than marketed with an additional charge. Also, it would have been a nice touch to receive a free desert or a chocolate to acknowledge my birthday. INevertheless, I would still recommend Home Block at Cedar Creek.
Our experience at Home Block at CedarCreek Estate Winery was absolutely wonderful. As a vegan couple, we were thrilled with how easily they adapted their vegetarian dishes to meet our needs. The food was simply delicious—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The setting couldn't have been more perfect, with stunning views of the vineyards and Okanagan Lake, making for a serene and memorable atmosphere. The ambiance inside the restaurant was equally impressive—warm, elegant, and perfectly suited to a relaxing meal. From the incredible food to the breathtaking scenery, every detail was spot on. We can't wait to visit again!

Very nice atmosphere, the food was great as well. We had 2 course lunch with pairing wine. Enjoyed both the food and wine as well as the stunning view. The service was excellent and the blanket helped a lot while eating on the patio table.

We enjoyed a nice anniversary lunch. One appetizer was delicious and is our go to and the other was less desirable. The oysters were old and tasted off and the batter was really thick on the deep fried items. The yam dish was delicious and the fish was tasty but the lentils and greens were bitter.

This is a restaurant with style. The menus are created daily and all starters and mains are creatively selected and matched with the appropriate wines. The setting with an outstanding view onto the lake and the mountains is one we will not ever forget. We do recommend this outstanding restaurant to anybody looking for something special.
