The mission location sucks. Everything about it from the unfriendly service to the food that makes you feel incredibly ill, to the cold atmosphere. Will never go back.

I had an amazing experience at Chicko Chicken Downtown Kelowna! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. The flavors are outstanding — I tried the Soy Garlic and Cheese Snow, and both were full of taste without being greasy. The Shake Shake Fries were such a fun and delicious side, definitely a must-try!

The staff were really friendly and served everything fresh and hot. The vibe is casual and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sharing with friends. Prices feel fair for the quality you get, and the portions are generous.

Honestly, this is the best Korean fried chicken spot in Kelowna — I’ll definitely be coming back again and again! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves bold flavor and crispy perfection.

My recent online order from your Kelowna location was very disappointing. The chicken, usually a favorite, was bland.

We are regular customers of Chico-Chicken in Vernon, ordering frequently and expecting similar quality. However, the food from your Kelowna store fell short.

When we asked about a refund or re-cooking the order, the cashier was unapologetic and insisted the ingredients were the same as in Vernon. Despite this, the taste and overall quality at your Kelowna location were inferior, leaving a negative impression.

I cannot recommend the Kelowna location. For authentic Chico-Chicken, we will continue to visit the Vernon store.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment regarding an online order placed at your Kelowna location today, August 17, 2025. My son picked up the order, and unfortunately, the chicken we received, particularly our usual favorites, was surprisingly subtle and bland in taste, which was quite unexpected.

As loyal customers of your Vernon establishment, we consistently spend up to $60 weekly on various chicken types, including yangnyeom and soy garlic, and have always been thoroughly satisfied with the quality. It was our strong positive experience with the Vernon store that led us to anticipate a similar standard of delicious Korean chicken at your Kelowna branch, assuming a consistent quality across all Chico-Chicken locations.

Upon tasting the food, we were incredibly let down. When we contacted the Kelowna store to inquire about a refund or having the order remade, we were met with a complete absence of apology. Instead, the cashier boldly asserted that the same ingredients are used as in the Vernon shop, offering no resolution to our issue.

While the ingredients may indeed be identical, it is clear that the preparation and execution of the dishes at your Kelowna location resulted in a product that was significantly inferior to the authentic taste and quality we have come to expect and love from Chico-Chicken. Both the overall service we received and the disappointing quality of the food have left a very negative impression on us.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend your Kelowna location. It appears that the true, authentic taste of Chico-Chicken, in our experience, remains exclusively with your Vernon establishment.

Recently visited this location yesterday and it clear ownership has changed. What was once chicken tenders in your meal has become changed to miscellaneous chicken parts, legs, wings and other parts. Super disappointed! Won't be going there again to have Kentucky Fried chicken with sauce on it. Bad business idea to swap out the chicken tenders..

I don't know when the owners changed but the chicken is just not the same. Ordered padak and it was missing its signature sauce. Padak requires sauce and green onion, but they just put green onion on top of regular fried chicken. Doesn't feel authentic and would not recommend.

I only ordered fries but the place looked considerably clean and tidy, the staff was friendly and the amount of fries was good for the price but very greasy

I was really looking forward to trying the chicken here but unfortunately I cannot give this a glowing review. It takes roughly 20 mins for orders to be prepared which isn't a big deal in itself unless you're in a rush and looking for a quick bite. I had the original chicken, and a side of fries. I also got a side sauce. The fried chicken was good but frankly, nothing special. The atmosphere isn't very welcoming, it's quite dark and not very clean. I do think this spot has a lot of potential with more attention to detail. But if I can be honest, as of now, it is not inviting or tasty enough to incite a return.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp going up to the restaurant.
