My husband and I got married on September 6, 2025 and went with Cupcasions for our wedding cake and cupcakes. Libbie at Cupcasions was very helpful with choosing a cake and cupcakes to serve at our wedding. Libbie set up an amazing cake and cupcake display at our wedding venue and the cupcakes were both pretty and delicious.

Libbie was a delight to do business with. She made it easy and fun to choose our wedding cake and cupcakes. The dessert table was probably the highlight for everyone.
She set up the cupcakes and cake on display so beautifully and everything was decorated beautiful with a colour palette to match my theme.
Everyone loved the cupcakes and my only complaint is that I didn’t have more to save and eat by the end of the night!

I had ordered a custom cake with cupcakes for a 50th wedding anniversary party. The order process was really smooth and the staff were all great to work with. In the end, the cake looked amazing, tasted so good and was a big hit. Would highly recommend!

I came out on July 15, 2025 in honour of Baileys Day, though we have been coming to cupcasions consistently throughout the years for birthdays and celebrations.

Cupcasions truly has (some of) the BEST cupcakes in the Okanagan (and beyond). I was beyond impressed with the service, love and dedication of the staff and the cupcakes (as always) were phenomenal.

Cupcasions is hands down the best cupcake spot in town! Every time I’ve ordered, the cupcakes have been fresh, beautifully decorated, and absolutely delicious. Libbie, the owner, is amazing—super friendly, helpful, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. You can really tell she puts her heart into every order. Highly recommend if you want something sweet that looks as good as it tastes!

I went to cupcasions on Thursday july 24. My beautiful grandchild requested pink cupcakes. Wanting to spoil her with the best I thought of you!! Sadly I shouldn’t have. No pretty pink but I picked out a doz ! The frosting was sweating and they didn’t look that fresh! But what can you expect for $34.00!! That’s $34. 00 for a doz mini cupcakes!! Anyways ! They didn’t disappoint my grand daughter. However she’s only3 and didn’t pay for them!!
My real problem was the most unhappy , tragic sales associate ( maybe owner) which is even worse who looked upset that she had to help me. Her only comment was I was exiting out the door that was locked. Which I bitingly replied it was how I got in!!!
I will not return and will tell anyone who asks not to bother!!!

don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I was really disappointed with the cupcakes I ordered for my daughter’s birthday. At over $4 each, they lacked any special effort and looked like something from a grocery store. Years ago, I ordered from here and received beautiful cupcakes with thoughtful details, but this time was completely different. I called to ask about it and was told I would get a call back but never did. Sadly, I won’t be ordering again.

Update in response to the owner’s reply:

The reason I called back was because I felt rushed during the initial conversation and was told the staff member had to go. I later received a call back. At no point was I asked about flowers or sea-themed accents. I also want to clarify that I never specifically requested mermaid tails. I simply asked for the cupcakes to look like the mermaid-themed ones I had ordered years ago, and I made that clear several times throughout our conversations.

I also did not request for the icing to match the mermaid tails or to be one tone. In fact, I repeated several times that I wanted them to look exactly the same as the previous order.

The follow-up calls were only about adjusting the size of the order. If more details or reference photos had been needed to replicate the original cupcakes, I would have been happy to provide them.

You should have informed me beforehand if you no longer had proper documentation or records of the original order. From the phone calls, I was under the impression that you had a copy or clear reference to what was done previously.

A delicious selection of cupcakes on hand, friendly staff and more than fair prices. Absolutely will be returning for more!

Fantastic products, designed with flavour and eye appeal. Where they shine is their event prep. Our wedding display was incredible, the rice paper butterflies seemed to be alighting on the cakes on a tiered wooden tree stand. Magical.
