A very convenient and accommodating eatery. The owner and staff are most pleasant. It's a great place to have a quick meal at lunch.

I met a group of friends for lunch today and was disappointed to see the meal I had ordered and paid for given to another patron who came in after me.I had to ask 3 or 4x for a refund until it was finally processed so I could order something else. There was no discount offered.

So yummy! My first time here. Delicious home made soup and couscous salad. Quaint seating. A great place to pop in for. Quick bit but they also have cappuccino etc. I will be back ?

Reasonable place, regular food for higher prices, got order mixed up three times. Nice place for meetings.

Tasty, fresh food. A little pricey for the quantity of food you receive...but definitely very good.

This is a great family restaurant! Of course if you understand, running and working in a family business is never easy, there are mistakes and mishaps that happen often, but Deli City still has the family feeling that a family ran restaurant / business usually has.I strongly recommend their chicken Thai soup with half a sandwich deal, excellent quality in the soup and nothing wrong with a nice sandwich on the side! Regardless of cost (they are reasonable) it is important to support family businesses like this, as with the current financial climate there will be less and less family owned businesses around in the coming years. So if you are ever wanting to find a place to go for a lunch date, give this place a shot!

Grabbed a sandwich here to go the other day. Actually was very happy with price and portion. Staff was friendly and helpful. Worth a stop if you are looking for a decent sandwich and snack.

Soup is almost always pre cut carrots and celery over boiled in water, and then placed into bowls, can’t even smell the carrots. Stews are tasteless, meat in it is tough and if you get chicken breast or turkey breast it’s bone dry. They never put any herbs or sauces on their food and vegetables and the vegetables seem to be coming from bags of frozen stuff. I don’t know how they do it, but they seem to be able to suck the flavour out of everything. I gave them a one only because there is no zero. I had their cheese Mac one time and it did not taste like cheese. It tasted like Powdered stuff with some milk in it and over cooked macaroni. I’m not a great cook, but I could do mac & cheese, while drunk, and do better.I heard people before say that this used to be a great place, but I’m thinking that might have been with the previous owners? I’m just not sure what happened but it’s gone downhill from what I have heard from others.

I ordered the Green with Envy, $9.95, which said it should have: Avocado, pea sprouts, pumpkin seeds, spinach and pesto cream cheese with lettuce. Mine had no avocado, spinach or pea sprouts. So I essentially paid $10 plus tip for a lettuce and cream cheese sandwich. If you're going to charge $10 for a veg sandwich, it better be as delicious as described.
