Trendy decor, interesting bean, perfectly balanced and nutty. If I was local, this would be my spot

I went here for the first time recently and had a really disappointing experience. The baristas that were working seemed like they didn't want to be there. Interacting with them felt awkward and like I was bothering them. I could understand this if it was a rush and they were busy, but I was the only person in line and no one was waiting for drinks. The coffee I got was good, but the food wasn't great. I ordered the tuna melt sandwich and although it had grill marks on it, the bread was soft and soggy.

The cafe itself is very pretty and there was a decent amount of seating for a cafe of its size. (The bathroom was a bit dirty though)

I love Deville's coffee and I've had their food at other locations in Kelowna and Edmonton and it's usually really good. I was disappointed that this location didn't deliver the experience I'm used to, especially at the price point.

You want customers to support local businesses, but you are not reciprocating to the customers of Kelowna. I’m specifically referring to the Parade with a purpose, Saturday Dec.6 downtown Bernard. I opened the doors to your shop only to be told Sorry we close at 6. Thousands of people showed up to support this cause for KGH and to see a wonderful event and parade. So tell me why on perhaps the busiest day of your year would you choose to close the doors at 6? Perhaps you were ignorant to the fact or your manager could have done a better job on informing you. Therefore I choose to not support your business as should others of Kelowna. In the end your loss because your competitors up the street they were open and they were extremely busy! Also offering a nice $3.00 hot chocolate with all the trimmings for the kids!Shame on you.

Very good ice matcha latte. All the baristas and front desk are really sweet. I do think they only hire for beauty and kindness because that’s how all the girls there are!

Nice coffee shop. I got a vanilla latte which actually tasted like vanilla
My only complaint was there wasn't much coffee in it. Mostly tasted like milk.

Every other day I get someone who is blunt or seemingly in a foul mood while making and/or handing off my coffee to me.
Buying your coffee at a premium price, tipping 20% or more every single time for a take out beverage, greeting and thanking your staff for everything that they do is seemingly not enough. I think more than one person working there needs customer service training. All paying customers deserve the same standard of service. Don't be selective.
