The best food ever. There samosa is so tasty you have to try it. Best customer service very friendly and efficient fast service. Everything on there menu is authentic super delicious. recommend 100 percent. You all have to try it you will be coming back for more. Thank you for the great food and service we will be coming back.

Eye Tasty Food was my 221st eatery within Vernon city limits. Although based in Kelowna, it was here in Vernon for Funtastic.
I tried the chicken dish which came with rice and a salad. Because they didn't have much rice, they gave me a free Ethiopian flat bread.
Although the flat bread wasn't my flavour, it was definitely fresh and appeal to a lot of people.
The chicken and rice parts of the meal was definitely the best part of the meal. Aside from the tomatoes, I really liked it.
If you want to try a new food truck, I highly recommend giving this one a try.
And that was my 221st eatery within Vernon city limits.

Wonderful service and great vegan curries! My fiance and I were simply passing by to get to Vancouver- and know that in any city if you need good vegan food you resort to Ethiopian food. This restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will be coming back!

I saw this truck at the Thursday Downtown Market and happen to have a conversation with the owner and he introduced me to his wife EYE hence the name. I got Chicken Samosa to try and they offered me their Ethiopian traditional bun along which was a nice gesture. Both husband and wife were extremely polite and friendly and I also liked the food. I would recommend incase you haven't tried Ethiopian food before (it's kinda similar to Indian/ African Food) plus the service received was delightful. Recommended.
Vegetarian options: There are a few like Potato Chips, Ethiopian Bun, Lentil Samosa, Potato Samosa, etc.
Just got some Ethiopian food, my favourite kind of food, usually have to travel to Vancouver for it but thank goodness I found this place! Just ordered and they gave us so much extra ! The two running the food truck are very kind and passionate about what they do, I hope one day they open a restaurant because it’s worth it! Highly recommend! Very healthy too!

Ordered out of the food truck downtown. I'm hooked. FANTASTIC beef tibs with rice. Very tender chunks of beef with onions and bell peppers in a red, spicy sauce. I need to go to the Mother Ship and sample more of the menu. The woman who served us was lovely: very polite and patiently answered our questions. Kelowna needs a restaurant like this, especially one that does everything right. Highest recommendation.

Thrilled to finally get Ethiopian food in Kelowna! Excellent Injera flat bread (made from 100% gluten-free Teff flour), delicious Tikil Gomen (savory cabbage) and yummy Chicken Tibs! Lovely, warm people! And you can eat outside in the park, by the lake! Try it!
