The food was amazing, waiter was attentive. Loved his accent. The ambiance was perfect for a birthday dinner. We had 3 wonderful "surprises" that delighted our experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!
Booked in for a birthday dinner, and all members at the table had been excited to try Gather for a few years now. Only I was asked what type of water I would like; the other guests, upon arrival, didn't get offered a choice. Our server did not greet us with a simple hello; instead, she was taking payment from another table and said, "I'll check in with you soon". Then proceeded to help a few other tables. After 25-30 minutes of waiting, we were finally asked what drinks we would want. For the price of the menu, I would hope she would welcome us with a simple greeting, such as "Hi, how are you? Are we celebrating anything this evening?" This is a basic etiquette that every server should follow. I will always give servers the benefit of the doubt, as I have been in the industry for many years. However, this experience left me upset. Food was good, same with cocktails. The hummus & Olives tasted like plastic, we all decided it may have been from the blow torch... we didn't end up eating them. We asked if the pasta noodles were homemade, and the server said she didn't think so, and the gnocchi was made in-house but frozen. Unfortunately, Gather was a bit of a letdown.
Gather was great! The food spectacular. I split the salmon and Risotto with a friend. Good portions.
From start to finish, the entire experience at Gather was superb. I cannot say enough about the flavour profile of each dish. It's a real gem in the Okanagan.
Gather is our favorite restaurant. We come here for special occasions, for lunch, anytime we have guests in town visiting. The food is always superb and the service beautifully paced. I recommend it to everyone.
We started with the burrata salad and it was unreal. Super creamy, really fresh, and perfectly balanced — simple but done right. The Caesar salad surprised me in the best way. Crisp, flavourful, and not drowned in dressing. You can tell it's made with care. Honestly one of the better Caesars I've had in a while. The gnocchi with rosé sauce was the star. Soft, pillowy gnocchi and a sauce that's rich without being too heavy. Total comfort food but still feels elevated. Would order it again in a heartbeat. Overall, Gather is just solid across the board. Great food, great vibe, and the kind of place you leave already talking about what you'll order next time.
Nice upscale spot for a large party. Good food and with a nice wine list.

The service was excellent and made the evening feel special since it was our anniversary. The food was delicious and big enough portions to feel satisfied. Great experience! The cocktails are a tad expensive though.
It was a very nice meal, well planned and executed well. I think the smoke from the containers is a little over the top, but that is only my opinion. The wine pairing was really well done, one of the best I have ever had. I really liked the main courses and the salad. The Octopus was a little tough and over cooked in my mind - but I know it is hard to keep tender. Overall I like the open space concept and the location was perfect for the fireworks later on.

Ordered Bibimbap and was very tasty. More beef to rice ratio, in fact, we were commenting how we would like a little more rice in the bowl. Would be nice to have the traditional hot stone bowls where the rice gets crispy on the bottom and food stays warm. The beef was a little on the cool side. Mocktails were pricey for a tiny glass.
Overall 6/10. The idea of fusion cuisine is attractive but also dangerous. It could be either create a harmony combination of cultures or a mess up. Unfortunately I tend to rate this place on the messy side. The beef tacos were good, veggies base with Korean bulgogi taste well. The strips of asparagus on the top were a bit awkward to cut with your teeth unless you can eat the whole at a time. Portion was definitely a share plate. 8/10 The salmon was on the other hand not my taste. Wasabi cream base does bit pair well with the salmon. Cooked salmons are often dry and need a strong flavour complement compared to raw or have-cooked salmons which are there for texture. Unfortunately I can barely taste any flavours from the salmon. The veggies were the biggest point reduction from me, it stacks over 8 types of veggies which does not pair... I think there is a overfocus on presentation than the taste. 4/10 It's more like a family restaurant. I would still go if my friend is coming visit Kelowna the first time or I'm spending a night with my whole family. But as a solo diner who just wants to enjoy food, I'd probably pick somewhere else. That said, I see their potential and would like to give another try if they invent new plates.
Interesting and delicious fusion foods. Large portions, but pricey.

One of our favourite places to dine and celebrate, if required. Dishes on offer are always interesting, unique and delicious. Menu suits meat lovers and vegetarians alike.
First time visitor to Gather. Natasha, our server was excellent. It seemed as though they were a server short on the floor and Natasha along with the 1 or 2 others were working their tales off to attend to the full house. So waiting for service was delayed at times, but understood. We were seated opposite of the door behind the glass liquor case. It was cold and jackets were needed to be worn throughout our visit. Food was good, the pork belly unfortunately was overcooked and dry. We were there for a birthday celebration, unfortunately when the place is full, it gets extremely noisy. Not the ambience we were looking for in a family gathering, as we were required to raise our voices in order to communicate with each other, or disregard the intended dialogue. We all cannot decide if we will return or not. Would like to try some other food, but the increased noisy setting did not lead to the enjoyable outing we often look forward.
