“Great food, generous portions, service could improve

Kelowna residents recommended Yamas Taverna to us as one of the best restaurants in town, so we went there for dinner on Boxing Day.

I love Mediterranean-style food, and overall the food did not disappoint. The potatoes served with the meals were delicious and very unique, and the lamb was excellent. Even though it’s a Greek restaurant, I also really enjoyed their pasta. The portion sizes were generous, which was a big plus.

In terms of service, the female staff member was kind and welcoming, while the service from the male staff could have been better. Overall, the service was okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

That said, the quality and quantity of the food were very good, and we enjoyed our meal. We would consider returning, especially for the food.“
