Excellent choices for Happy Hour and it goes until 6:00. Restaurant much quieter than bar.
Food was excellent as was service once hostess came to desk. It was very busy, probably folks from Happy Hour. Parking was free if vehicle registered at desk - easy to do by yoursef.
Thanksgiving dinner pre-fixe and pre-set menu. All the fixings, and presented beautifully. Fresh seasonal vegetables cooked perfectly. We would return. Service was excellent. We will be back to tfor the Sunday prime rib....
It was great both late lunch and late dinner. Nice price point, a variety of food options and great service. Really nice addition to hotel for the hungry and thirsty traveler. Had a tasty Mexican soup for lunch and tasty bison lasagna at dinner with a BC local red!
One of the most enjoyable meals during our entire Okanagan travels! We ate at some of the best known places with better views but none with the quality and value of Gulstream! The menu is diverse, beers are terrific and the service is exceptional!
This was average. Seemed a bit understaffed and food was good, ok. Hotel quality restaurant with patio in the parking lot.
Kind of a gem in the rough...did not expect this steak-house feeling in a small-airport hotel location...as surprising was the quality of the food and wine section. Very good!!!
Mgr went out of her way to accommodate one of the members of our party who is on a struct carnivore diet.
Had dinner with my family here. Very welcoming staff and nice vibe. Casual dining with hearty menu. Their cocktail menu was nice too. We had the passion fruit gin sour and it was made very nicely. The heirloom salad with strip loin was the perfect dish with lots of micro greens. We also ordered the beef dip and that was a hit too. The portions are generous with friendly service. There's also outdoor seating for a nice afternoon happy hour with friends and family.

Came for supper in a party of 4. The staff were friendly on arrival, and the atmosphere was pleasant. My mother would say ‘if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all’. Luckily for you, my work says ‘you can’t get mad if it’s funny’. If you’re in the latter half, read on.
We were shown our table and told that our waitress would be with us shortly. Shortly is very circumstantial, and for Gulfstream it is somewhere from 3-10 minutes, only for her to provide us menus and vanish quicker than speedy Gonzales in a foot race. After another shortly time of about 7 or 8 minutes she came back with water and the drink menu and said she’d get some answers for a price on an appetizer. ‘Shortly’ thereafter, this time a quicker return of 5 minutes we were able to order our food.
I have a ‘thing’ where I let the server or chef pick my meal. Done it for years, around the world. Only once in the past 20 years have I received the most expensive item on the menu, but fear not friends, Gulfstream to the rescue!
After about 25 minutes we received our drinks… along with our food. I received the Halibut and some of you older folk may know the Monty Python quote ‘all I said was, this piece of Halibut was good enough for Jahova’. I don’t know this overcooked halibut would rate at Joeys Fish and Chips, and as a professional chef if this is you’re piece de resistance, there’s a place across the street that’s accepting resumes… it’s A&W good luck. My wife’s beef dip would rate as good if we had gone to our local dive bar, alas a dive bar this was not.
The waitress, seemingly aware of the quality of service (or maybe an avid fan and baiting me for a Stella review to entertain herself) avoided us like a red head to the sun. Upon her inevitable return she seemed completely unprepared for any comments or responses other than ‘it’s great thanks’ and held a blank stare when we told her it wasn’t very good. She told us they were short staffed, but she’d get her manager.
About 8 minutes later (yep, at this point I was entertaining myself by counting minutes. It was more delightful than counting the bites of rubbery halibut) she arrived and told us the same short staffed and being busy (for a regular restaurant it certainly was not busy, but if after seeing the quality of the food, maybe that is as busy as they get). The manager seemed taken back that the halibut was not anything other than exponentially fantastical as they “are known for their halibut”. Well, after this review they maybe. However, the manager took the news of the beef dip like we had dishonored her eldest child, and whisked the half eaten meal away from my wife quicker than an unlocked bike vanishing in downtown Calgary.
She did eventually return, and as a redemption move kindly comped our entire bill, although wanted as little to do with us as possible.
Do yourselves a favour and find another place to eat. If you are staying at the hotel, for real. A&W is literally across the street.
