Have to say we were impressed. I had the pork cochanita, and my girlfriend had the Chicken Tinga. Both very authentic and delicious. The service and the atmosphere were the things to make it even more worthwhile!

This one was difficult to give a rating. As a group we would give this group a 3.5 for the food. The restaurant was very nice and the staff was very friendly.4.5 stars. We had a new server that did a good job. As a cook I found the flavors off, lacking in spice and authenticity. The dishes needed refining, especially for the price.

Nachos were not good, chips toasted too much, very blackened, extremely dry, little cheese, no sauce at all. Not recommended.
Server was a very young man, kudos to him for working so young!

We were ignored and left unattended for most part. Plates were not picked up and our little table was crowded when the 2nd dish arrived. Had to stand up to make myself visible to the servers so they would get us our bill.

Casa de Frida is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kelowna and a contender for best overall. Flavors are so simple and balanced yet there is depth and complexity and live in every dish. Ingredients are fresh and preparation is flawless. Everyone is friendly and kind and the cocktails are superb. Frida’s Gem is the best drink I’ve had in town. The chicken lime soup is perfect. The tacos are delicious. Perfection. Don’t miss this place.

We had a beautiful meal at Casa de Frida, I suggest trying the amazing homemade habanero hot sauce. Great atmosphere and Service and the food was fabulous!

Casa de Frida Restaurant in Kelowna transcends any authentic Mexican food experience outside of Mexico. It is nice to be off the busy main street of Bernard and so worth the few steps! This historic Kelowna house has been transformed into a tribute to Frida Khalo and Diego taking you to the destination of Casa de Frida in Mexico City. The moment you enter the courtyard your experience begins. A lively and colourful patio with odes to the culture. Entering the main house/restaurant is where you will be greeted by you hosts Naty and Luis. The most charming and genuinely lovely couple who hand craft the elevated menu. Not your typical taco house. The food, drink and presentation was spectacular! We had such a great experience and really encourage you to try it for yourself. Saluduos hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar Naty e Luis!
