This place used to have the best vegan bento boxes and the most incredible iced oat milk lattes (and I hate oat milk!! Idk what they were using but it was so creamy). They recently did some renovations and were closed for a bit — I wanted to head in for lunch with my husband and called in advance to double check their menu and the guy said they don’t have vegan stuff anymore 🥲

Glad to see J Cafe reopened with a fresh new menu! Tried a couple dishes with friends — everything was super tasty! Loved the beef brisket noodle soup, crispy chicken burger, and curry pork cutlet. The salad with crispy wonton strips was a nice surprise too.

Probably the BEST matcha I’ve ever had. I seriously don’t know how they make it but it’s perfect every time without fail. Super sad they’re under construction cause now I don’t have my favourite drinky drank but I’ll be waiting!!!

About three blocks from our home is J's, an unpretentious and cozy cafe. We've tried all their vegan options and none disappoint. Two favourites are the J's Vegan Bento Box, and the Vegan BLT. Owner and staff are friendly and the service is great.
I've been going to J's since they opened and I used to love this place and my most recent visit will be my last. So disappointed by the quality, non-accurate descriptions and lack of explanation when I asked why my order was completed different than advertised. It was practically inedible also, a total waste of money.

I use love the egg drop sandwich but it was wrong also way less egg and just not how they use to make them very disappointed I also ordered a ufo burger today the UFO burger for one had nothing on the burger that the description says that it gets and it was the driest worst Burger I've ever had in my life it was absolutely terrible unfortunately for bieng a long term customer after today's experience I will not return

i love the environment and everything about the cafe. the only thing is the bingsu and egg drop sandwiches. the bingsu's flavours just don't match; the egg drop sandwiches are too sweet:(. i really expected the bingsu to be like actual bingsu, but it was just in a small cup:(..
But it is still very nice to have a korean fusion resteraunt in kelowna.
