I’ve been to Teppanyaki in Hawaii and it’s always a highlight on the trip! Now we get to experience it in Kelowna! The food was amazing and the portions are huge! They made it extra entertaining by tossing brocoli and getting you to catch it in your mouth. Great place to celebrate or just have a fun night out!

We never even got to sit down. We made reservations for our 10 year anniversary and when we arrived, we were told that nothing on the main menu was available. No one explained anything while we inquired about the place, food, and prices. Would not recommend dining here

Went for the first time recently and was INCREDIBLE. You have to go at least once. My bf and I had a great time at the teppanyaki. They are very accommodating to dietary requests (I am gluten and dairy free) and the atmosphere is beautiful. Walter was our chef and he was awesome!

Fiancée and I went here for date night. Next time, I would bring some family and extra people as you get stuck with strangers at your table. I believe it’s 12 max. The performance is wonderful, but the cook seemed to be weird about me being vegetarian. He made some comments that made me uncomfortable (mostly his tone of voice and expression). I’m a pretty casual vegetarian and don’t care about cross contamination, so I wasn’t making it a big deal at all and just informed the chef that I don’t eat meat when we were asked about dietary considerations. I understand that some people get upset that people don’t eat meat, but at the end of the day, just do your job and let people eat what they enjoy. I could care less what other people eat. I just don’t want to be judged for my choices.
Other than that, the food was incredible. They put a lot of thought into the sauces and flavours. The chef was so skilled, it was incredible to watch. The tofu dish was the most amazing. Easily top 3 tofu dishes I’ve ever had in my life. The sauce was wonderful. He stacked it up like a house and the sauce poured out of the middle when you cut into the tofu. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. There was a lovely man at the table who shared his wagyu beef with my fiancee. He said it was delicious.
If you want a fancy dining experience with the whole family or group of friends, I highly recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: The tofu was amazing. The miso soup is not vegetarian

Very tasty food. Loved many of the dishes. The Ramen was delicious and a huge portion. Only item we ordered that wasn't appealing was the gomae. Great quality of sashimi tuna.
Nice wine selection and reasonable wine prices. The food prices a little high but the quality sustains the prices.
The service was good.
We did NOT do the show and we were happy of this choice as we liked ordering many differedishes.

The place is very visible in the area fronting Harvey Ave. You’ll be welcomed by their friendly staff and the place is really nice for a private lunch/dinner. The food is awesome! The chicken karaage is not too thick of coating unlike in other restaurants. The roll is fantastic. You could really taste every flavour inside and it compliments with the soy sauce. The ramen is huge and could be shared for 2 people. The service is great as well. But most of all, the place is clean and well maintained. I will definitely be back to try their teppanyaki and other foods coz the place is really great and highly recommendable..

We used to love coming to this place but recently it has gone far down hill.
Our server was completely useless and really ruined the experience for my girlfriend’s birthday.
As someone who owns service businesses I understand that finding good people can be difficult but compensating customers and reading the room can help.

We had a great experience at Kasai. Service was nice and friendly. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Dragan rolls were spectacular. Grilled squid was nice and tender but not enough seasoning and you definitely needed the sauce for it. We didn’t find much flavour in Gomae. Definitely lacked peanut butter sauce.
Tuna poke was delicious and amazing quality. The ramen bowl is enough for two if you have couple of appetizers in advance.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was good. Our Chef Walter was the Boss!! Made the whole night! My wife’s birthday was perfect!
Can’t have enough of Kasai sushi! I have visited 3 times and always ordered a la carte. One of the best quality sushi in town. They truly take the time to also prepare beautiful orders. Not to mention the service is always great!
Just be mindful your clothes will smell afterwards due to the teppanyaki stations. I personally don’t mind when the food is good. 😊

Very limited vegetarian options for the main dining experience, pretty much just tofu. A big piece of tofu. It was tasty but really too much tofu for a sitting. The side dishes that are prepared were fine. Yummy dipping sauces. The guy who was our groups chef, was arrogant. He belittled and dismissed a customer, it was quite off putting. Neat experience, but very pricey for a limited option.
