Lots of reviews about captain Mike, but the star of our cruise was another member! I wish I could remember her name (Noah or something of the sort) she spoke with us for quite some time as the speaker system was broken, and we couldn't hear any of the info being shared. She also gave some wonderful recommendations about where to go for the next few days of our vacation! Very personable and knowledgeable! We loved getting beautiful pictures, and just having a peaceful time on the water. Lots of kids screaming where we were on the lower level, but I guess that just comes with the territory.
I was very disappointed with this cruise. The cruise just went around the Kelowna marina area at a very slow speed. This made a 2 hour cruise very boring. I expected for the price and time that the cruise would go down the river a bit. When I asked about where the cruise went the captain was snarky and said the lake is 84 miles long. When we got on there weren’t enough seats up top so we came downstairs. There we had to sit and listen to the captain FaceTime his wife who was yelling at her children to sit down and eat dinner and also discussing the lack of passengers on board. It made for a very uncomfortable experience. Dinner was okay but very overpriced. The pasta salad was mushy and the salad was soaked in dressing to the point the croutons were mushy. This cruise is overpriced for what you get. There are better things to spend so much money on in Kelowna.
Captain Mike made our afternoon cruise memorable by providing great humor and knowledge of lake Okanagan and the surrounding area! Plenty of options for seating inside or up top along with an open bar. Worth going on!
Lucky did an amazing job of accommodating our bachelorette group! He made sure the bride felt special, altered details of the cruise to suit our party's needs, and even hooked us up with the DJ for some special requests. Also, shout out to the DJ for playing an incredible set - had us dancing all night and talking about it all weekend! Highly recommend booking a party cruise with Kelowna Cruises!! 🚢✨️
We are visiting from Alberta with a multigenerational group of seven - my parents in their 70s and our two young children (ages 3 and 6). We took the 3:00–4:30pm cruise and added the meal option, which included a beef or chicken burger with a pasta salad.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be invited to board first - possibly due to the meal service or having young children with us. We were given a spacious table on the upper deck that comfortably accommodated our whole family.
Captain Mike was incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a relaxing afternoon. As we cruised, we enjoyed commentary on local landmarks and history, including the Kelowna bridge, the 2023 wildfires, and other highlights of the area. About 30 minutes into the cruise, our meals were ready and served on the lower deck. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and staff kindly helped us bring everything upstairs.
The weather was perfect, the water calm, and the ship itself was well-maintained. We even had the chance to meet some lovely fellow passengers from Ontario, adding to the charm of the experience.
One important note for families: the life jackets onboard appear to be designed for individuals weighing 75 lbs and up. Parents traveling with young children may wish to bring their own properly fitted life jackets for peace of mind. If the cruise company were to provide smaller-sized life jackets, it would be a truly thoughtful addition to an already exceptional experience.
Thank you for such a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable outing!
🌅 Sunset Dinner Cruise – GetYourGuide
This was such a memorable experience and we would absolutely do the cruise again—but maybe skip the dinner next time. The views were breathtaking, and the entertainment was top-notch. We even had our own Enrique Iglesias serenading the boat—amazing vibes all around!
🍽️ Now, for the food… we tried one steak dinner and one salmon. Unfortunately, the steak was overly fatty and chewy—it honestly made my jaw tired. The salmon was packed with bones, which became a safety concern when my wife almost choked. The Caesar salad was soggy with a bit too much dressing, but the Greek potatoes? Absolute stars of the plate—soft, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Also, special shoutout to their Shirley Temples—so refreshing and delicious!
⭐ for the experience, views, and vibes
🍴 Dinner: 2.5/5 – You’re better off eating before or after
Unfortunately not worth the money. We took the 3pm cruise expecting that we would go up or down the lake and see more then what's visible from the pier and also would learn a bit about the history of the region. We got none of this. The boat went from the harbor to the Bennett bridge (very short distance from the harbor) and then back at an excruciatingly slow pace, with very little commentary. Overall disappointing and would not recommend.
We did the sunset cruise with dinner and it was the most relaxing part of our trip to Kelowna. We had love music and the cruise did not feel crowded. We were able to move between both decks without worrying about losing our spots. Staff was so friendly and helpful and really made the cruise feel personal and intimate. Would recommend if you're looking for a low-key cruise that'll leave you feeling relaxed.
This is our group's fourth cruise with Kelowna Cruises and again we were so impressed with the crew and the food and the overall experience. Thanks Mike, I commend you on your hiring choices!

The crew was very friendly. Additionally the boat was very clean and appeared well maintained. The information shared was interesting but I would have liked to learn more. The speakers did not seem to be working consistently so it was hard to hear what was being said.

Very bad don't try it
Very bad service Kelowna Okanagan Lake Hey, I was here before 3 PM to go on a cruise and the cruise left without us because there is a guy on the front desk. He told me just wait beside the other cruise I went beside and the cruise. The one we booked on it left already and we’ve been here before three and there’s a guy on the front that’s the one he told us to wait or not be beside the other cruise. Not recommended don’t try it
Awesome experience and excellent staff
Great trip, friendly staff, beautiful views. Worth the money.
Amazing experience and views. Just wish the tour guide would explain more about the area and history.
