I chose to dine at your restaurant because of the exceptionally high reviews. There's no doubt that the food was delicious, but the service was truly disappointing. The two female servers displayed a lackluster attitude with no enthusiasm or genuine care. There wasn’t a single smile or warmth in their service, and the only time I saw them smile was while chatting with each other while clearing tables. Moreover, when clearing our plates, they didn’t even bother to ask if we were finished with the remaining food—they just took the plates away. The overall dining experience was far from pleasant.
I strongly suggest focusing on improving service quality and providing better training for your staff.

We came here for lunch time, the food we ordered were great!
But the staffs had no smile at all, even did not say any Thanks to customers.
We’ll not come back again.

Kimbap & Sushi is an okay option for Korean and Japanese options.
We had the Rainbow roll and Hollywood roll. Both were okay, but nothing exceptional. We also had the Korean fried chicken (honey garlic) which was oversauced in super thick and overly sweet sauce. I could be spoiled by the Korean fried chicken joints in Metro Vancouver. The takoyaki had a nice batter but only a teeny tiny piece of octopus inside. The topping was also missing bonito flakes which are typical with this Japanes appetizer.
With all that said, Kimbap & Sushi might be a good option for locals, but not visitors like myself.

There are not many dining seats, so it is not a suitable restaurant for chatting and eating with friends.

They only offer 4 different gluten free sushi rolls that contain fish
Do not recommend
All the bowls are broken on the edge.
The food is really bad, would not spend money here

Worst restaurant.
Jjamppong tasted like beef soup rather than the typical soup, and soft tofu tasted like soft tofu added to the soup. The service was unfriendly. The bowl is full of water. Very unhygienic place.

We arrived on a Friday evening and waited 20 minutes. Many people showed up and left because of the wait. We ordered two sushi rolls, the wonton soup, and bimbap bowl. Everything was fine, the best being the shiitake sushi. Portions were large for the wonton soup and bimbap bowl. Each had lots of veggies was nice. Taste wasn't bad, but nothing standout. Overall, I'll probably come back to grab a shiitake sushi rolls.

Gamjatang was edible ^^
The kids also enjoyed the Jjajangmyeon.
I went there with high expectations, but I was a bit taken aback because it was my first time seeing a Korean restaurant without any side dishes or kimchi even when ordering the main menu, but it seemed like most of the customers here don't have any experience with Korean food, so they just ate it without knowing it haha.
I don't eat a lot, but the rice comes in a bowl big enough to hold a side dish, and no matter how much you serve it like gobong rice, it's still not enough haha.
I don't think you should compare it to Korean restaurants in Calgary -
If you miss Korean food a lot during your trip, I recommend going there.

The service was terrible. One of the non-Asian waitresses was extremely rude, whispering to her colleague in the corner near the end of the kitchen and ignoring customers. After multiple attempts to get her attention, she finally came over but rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to bring something.

I really appreciate the vegan menu but unfortunately my food lacked flavour and presentation. The wonton noodles just feel apart and the spring rolls were really small. Their take out packaging needs to be more sustainable too.

Goodness u hate writing this review!!!! Beautiful place and wonderful service. We ready the reviews and went here because of them. After eating our sushi where one roll had an empty end… the mango prawn has a puree on top and was extremely salty….. has this changed ownership from all of these good reviews?
The sushi was okay…..
