I’m just disappointed. I don’t often come here, but I ordered sushi for the first time. I arrived almost on time, but one of the staffs seemed to be busy, so I just told the woman who was making sushi that I came here for pick up.
And she just said “wait.” I am working at a restaurant, but I have never said like her. And I think she is an owner. I feel she is very rude to a customer. I never come back.

I had the teriyaki chicken dinner, and it was delicious! The crispy chicken paired perfectly with the flavorful sauce. The portion was generous, and the vegetables were fresh. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. I’d definitely come back again!

Sat in this restaurant for dinner and watched multiple delivery drivers come in for orders from skip doordash and Uber eats and not a single delivery driver had a thermal bag and the waitress and chef released the food every time without hesitation. I asked the waitress why she isnt asking the delivery drivers to go get their bags and she blamed it on the chef saying she doesnt make the decisions. 100% never order delivery from this place!

Came to Komo Sushi and not really impressed. In terms of portion wise it's a small amount of pieces they served. I went to a sushi spot in downtown and the portion was huge for around $22. Got me 18 pieces. But in Komo Sushi for the price of $15.65 got only 6 pieces. The salad also was a small portion! I am not impressed. Taste was okay. Wasabi and ginger amount they gave us is very small. The salad was small in size. For tempura they added fried veges. This makes no sense. I dunno how they still geta 5 stars!
They have to rethink about their portion sizes.

I like to say that this is a good three star rating… Overall, it’s OK value for the money… But there was nothing special about any aspect of this place.
With that being said, it’s a great lunch spot if you need to get in and out, and like I said it’s a good three star… I will be back!

I first visited KOMO because a friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered a lunch bento box that had a wonderful variety of dishes — exactly the kind of meal I love. The tempura was perfectly crispy, and the grilled salmon had a crispy outside and tender, juicy inside. The salad and miso soup that came with it were a great way to start the meal.
Their chicken was also fantastic — crispy and seasoned like Korean-style fried chicken. I also really enjoyed the Dragon Roll and Mango Roll; they were fresh, clean-tasting, and had just the right amount of rice, which I appreciate.
The quality of the food is excellent, yet the prices are very reasonable. On top of that, the owner and staff are so kind and welcoming that it makes me want to go back at least once a week. Indeed I do!
I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared!

Ordered Salmon and Tuna rolls and they were the worst rolls I’ve ever had. Chewy and weird flavour.

This is my go-to sushi place. One of the only places in town that has wild sockeye salmon. The best! Staff is always pleasant and the prices are great. They also have two different cold sakes. I wouldn’t say this is the most authentic Japanese experience in Kelowna (I lived in Japan for a while), nonetheless it is my favorite.. for the salmon, the sake and the service.
