If you are looking for the best place to eat in Kelowna, La Bussola is the place. The quality of ingredients, and care taken by the owner/chef to prepare each dish was perfect. Every bite was flavorful and melt in your mouth. The service was impeccable, with excellent wine pairing with food recommendations, and a pleasure to chat with the servers. Will definitely be back when I'm in Kelowna again.

We had the scallops as an appetizer it was spectacular, for entree I had the Lasagna which was the best I've had.. ever highly recommend. Other entree was the gnocchi which was also delicious, light and tasty also recommend.

Unfortunately, the food was not up to par. We were 2 couples; the guys had the “special” which was veal with a ragu sauce & parmesan on top. The sauce according to the guys tasted burnt & the dish was seen as thrown together. It actually did not look appetizing. & was not good. The other female friend had the eggplant parmigiano which she said was “tasteless”. If we had complained we felt that it would have taken that much longer to eat our meal. We will not be returning to La Bussola anytime soon. Way too much money for the dishes which were very disappointing.

This was our second time at la Bussola, the first time being very good. Last night with only 3 tables occupied, everything was just wrong. Service was poor, appetizer was incorrect, the seafood special was fair at best, and just most unenjoyable. Will not be going back…so many far superior places to dine in Kelowna. Huge disappointment when dining out has become very pricy.

The tragedy is last year we had such a good time we thought it would be the same this year. They sat us beside a large loud party group at the back. We asked to be moved to the front area away from the F Bombs and loud partiers. Despite several open tables at the front they said no we could not move. I noted that those open tables at the front remained open all night while we were there. The food was overpriced and had gone downhill big time from last year. We dine out frequently but will not be back there. We were so disappointed and angry that I did something I've never done... left no tip.

The experience was excellent. Service was top drawer, not rushed and food was exquisite. We were there 90 minutes New Years Eve and had a wonderful meal. We especially appreciated the ambiance and noise level was low. Acoustics are excellent. Will return for sure.

La Bussola was the perfect holiday to treat ourselves. We have been looking to visit the restaurant for many months, so we made the reservation! When we walked in the smells were beautiful and the room was warm and cozy. We had a wonderful table near others but just far enough away to feel like we were dining alone. The food we ordered was over the top exceptional. We both drink different wine types, the wine list allowed us to enjoy our favorites easily. We highly recommend La Bussola and we look forward to making a reservation there again, very soon. Thank you for making our holiday night out very special. Linda and Bob
