I had a couple of pizzas from La Vela recently and they were both excellent. Authentic Italian pizza is the way to go. Highly recommneded!

Ordered through the website- completed by paying $60 or so through the site. Received a call that they don’t take orders through their site and asked us to order through skip the dishes or other app. They processed a refund right away, but not sure why they still have the order feature in their website if they don’t use it. Ordered through skip- missing and item and missing an additional ingredient paid to add to the pizza. Plus paid about $10 more through the app. The food was okay but not amazing. Not worth all the hassle.

Friends took us to this perfect Italian restaurant, La Vela Pizzeria, in Kelowna. The owners and the staff were so hospitable and made sure everything that was coming to the table was beautifully presented and tasting delicious. Each dish came with its own wonderful flavours and were very true to the variety of regions of Italy. Will definitely be coming back!!

Decided we felt like pizza and pasta so gave this little pizzeria a shot. We had a great server from the UK who was friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu. Was a little surprised by the authentic Italian roots claim online as it appears to be an Indian family owned business. Having said that, the food was packed with flavour and served hot. Especially enjoyed the Caprese Salad. The only complaint would be our preference for a little crisper bake on the bottom crust of the wood-fired pizza. It was a little soft for our liking. Would eat here again.

The pizza was delish. The waiter, Robby, with his lovley accent was pleasant and acurate. Today the owner, Harbinder was cooking which impressed me. I defanatly will be back.
