It was our first time doing High tea at Eldorado and it was good. Probably will not visit again because its overpriced.

Communication with the staff through Open Table regarding our reservation was excellent. Server was attentive but food for our party of eight took a while to come. Smash burgers and fries were excellent. Lobster bisque was amazing. Really made my mom's birthday feel special. Amazing atmosphere overlooking the lake. A lot of drink and mocktail options.

In what I think was our server trying to be attentive (far too many check ins to order etc etc), we felt rushed throughout from when we arrived to when we left but she was friendly. I love the ambiance of the Lakeside at the El. I love it enough to overlook some shortcomings, such as substandard food. My chicken was pretty dry and my companion's food was dry too.

This was the first time my wife and I have been to the Eldorado for dinner. We were very impressed from the moment we entered the room. We were seated promptly and our waiter came by shortly after with a "happy anniversary " greeting. Very impressive indeed. The service all evening was exceptional and the food was very delicious. To top off an incredible meal we were given a complementary delicious chocolate desert as an anniversary gift. Thank you for a great evening!! We will certainly be back.

We came for a quick dinner before an event this evening. Food and service were outstanding and the ambience was lovely. We will come back again when we can have a more leisurely dinner and truly enjoy the evening.

I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or what, but the service was terrible. We were there for their Thanksgiving dinner, and it took us over an hour to get our food from the time we ordered it. The funny thing is...it wasn't even really busy. Our waitress forgot our bottle of wine, we had to ask for the buns, which, when we finally got them, were not even warm. The food was ok, but definitely not worth the $60 they were charging per plate. That was our first time there, and we were excited because we've heard so many good things about it, but we won't be back.

Super disappointed with Thanksgiving at Eldorado Have been going for many years at Thanksgiving and Xmas eve Each time we go the meal and experience declines Food didnt arrive until 620 So waited one hour 20 mins Turkey dinner was not of good quality Lots of fat on turkey watery potatoes No stuffing per say Did not enjoy the meal at all

IMHO, not good value for the high cost of $55 per person. Selection and variety was good; however, found items that should have been hot/warm were not. Sounds crazy to say but think there was too many items on offer. “Less is more”. By the time you got back to the table items on plate were cold. Also, because it was Thanksgiving (Sunday) we had expected a carved turkey on offer (as had been confirmed when I phoned in to ask). Instead what was served was a turkey breast “roll” stuffed with dressing. OK but not as confirmed. Gravy for turkey not on same table as carved meat and not offered by server, so missed until I asked our waiter where it was. Also, ham was sliced off a piece of ham at the serving table. The Eldorado Restaurant has a perfect setting on the edge of the lake. Think the potential is there for a truly wonderful buffet experience but for our family, missed the target. Michael

Server wasn't a happy person and was very slow. Said it was her first morning shift in a while. Food was lukewarm when received. Potatoes tasted old and eggs were very overcooked. It's usually our “go to” breakfast place but we'll be looking for a new one. Unfortunate.
