We have always lived the timeless elegance of the Lakeside Dining Room and the recent refurbishing makes it even more inviting. The service and the food were superb. It's our favourite restaurant ai Kelowna. We can hardly wait to go back.

Clotted cream was stiff. Scones would have been better warmed, same with mini quiche. The croissant and bread of smoked salmon was drying out. Overall it tasted good just disappointed with presentation.

We were excited to have the experience of high tea. Our server was great, ambience was okay. Then 1/2 way through our reservation a group of 4 adults and 2 small children came into the room. The children were loud and running around the room. Really put a damper on our experience. We weren't impressed in the least.

Took my mom for what would have been my parents 62nd anniversary. The only time the server came over was to bring water and coffee, but expected a tip when the bill came. The food was cold and hard and very little selection. For being the "best brunch in Kelowna" it was horrible and very over priced. She had been wanting to go for a long time and we finally did. It was their first anniversary since Dad died and I wanted to do something special for her. We could have gone to the Keg and had a nicer lunch and paid a lot less. Real rip off for $55 per person.

This is my second time having high tea at El Dorado. Although I was disappointed that the menu was exactly the same, despite visiting more than a year later, this time the bread was fresher on the sandwiches. The sour cherry macaron was exceptional, so I was thankful that was still on the menu. A couple other items were a little less memorable. Overall this is a nice thing to do for a special occasion.

Would recommend! Food was outstanding - amazing entrées! The Christmas ambiance was sparkling and lovely. They may have been understaffed, because the server was covering too many tables to provide good service, but she was otherwise pleasant. On the pricier side for pasta and cod, but the quality and flavour made it worth it.

First, the service was very good! They made sure we're taken care of the whole time of our stay. We tried the Sunday Brunch buffet for the first time and loved it! Lost of choices, and the sweets are A++ Ambience is also very cozy. It's not just regular pancakes, salads, turkey and pasta. Everything is gourmet. We'll come back again :)
I am still waiting for a reply to my email of September 24 regarding serving fish that has gone off yet they deem is standard. For a so called high-calibre restaurant, they should know better.
The bar is set to low here. If you are looking for quality and excellence in cuisine, go elsewhere.

I am writing you regarding my experience dining at your restaurant yesterday evening.
We arrived and we seated promptly at a table in the sun as requested. The service was prompt and attentive, the coffee was served fresh and my cocktail was perfectly crafted.
The food came out shortly thereafter and we managed to be out of the restaurant in less than an hour. The duck spring rolls were amazing.
Both of us noticed that the fish tacos were incredibly fishy to the point of being repulsive. When I asked the waitress what fish it was she said it was cod. I made a comment that it was very fishy and she said that's just how it is and she puts hot sauce on it to cover up the fishy taste.
Since I like to taste my food and use minimal sauce as a compliment if at all, this suggestion did not appeal to me. Nor did it resonate with my knowledge that fishy fish is a sign of the fish not being fresh.
I find this incredibly concerning coming from a restaurant of this calibre. Not only is it incredibly unappealing, it may also be unsafe. I have included a few screen shots about fishy cod which is also known as the least fishy of fish.
As I mentioned, everything else about the service, food and drinks was flawless. May you please offer your comments on the fish?

Communication with the staff through Open Table regarding our reservation was excellent. Server was attentive but food for our party of eight took a while to come. Smash burgers and fries were excellent. Lobster bisque was amazing. Really made my mom's birthday feel special. Amazing atmosphere overlooking the lake. A lot of drink and mocktail options.

In what I think was our server trying to be attentive (far too many check ins to order etc etc), we felt rushed throughout from when we arrived to when we left but she was friendly. The atmosphere, food and overall experience was very good and would not hesitate to return
