Loved this family run eatery. Indoor and outdoor dining. Staff are incredibly friendly. I love their scones (tea biscuits - I buy extra and put them in the freezer) Home made soups look delicious and the smells coming from their little kitchen full of busy cooks smell amazing.

This fantastic place has you feeling like you are having lunch at your grandmas house. Delicious and healthy soup options ( with frozen portions to take home for quick and healthy meal prep ) the bread and sandwiches are fresh and the options are plenty. Service is amazing and makes you feel like you are family. I overheard quite a few people explaining how amazing this place is, while standing in line to bring a Friend for their first experience. This was my first time, but this place and these people are like a second home to my brother who lives in Kelowna. You will not regret a lunchtime visit!

Incredible breakfast spot. We each had the grilled ham, cheese and egg sandwich. So delicious. And the employees went so far to greet us and every customer and make sure we were comfortable. We felt like family here. Highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to pop by again to try some soup next time!

It’s so good I ate here 3 times in 5 days. This type of restaurant is a rarity in this day and age. The owners and staff should feel super proud! As someone from Burnaby the restaurant scene here is a huge joke so I was shocked places like Hobo still existed.

Little hobo is a street sandwich shop. Very very good sandwiches and soup to be found here. This is not fine dining decor. Often you will share your table with others but it sort of adds to the experience. I have never been disappointed. Today I had the reuben amd my dish partner had the borscht with a sconne. Great meal and loved the service.

Great lunch menu

We visited this cute li'l shop on recommendation by our parents who had enjoyed the artisan sandwiches they make in-house. Our experience has been excellent. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. They took care of each order with great interest, took time to chat with us and were quick to accommodate a large group as ours on a busy afternoon.
We got burgers, sandwiches and salads. Everything was freshest, pleasing to tastebuds and comforting as home food. The soups were delicious and complimentary to a kid. Very impressed with how small business as this, puts community first. Don't miss Little Hobo on your visit to Kelowna. And if you are a local, even better!

I had the pleasure of going into Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop and was impressed by the level of service and care. From the moment we walked in the door you could just feel this was a special place. In a world that is fast paced, and everyone seems to be rushing through their day, this place gives you a moment of escape for even a short amount of time. The food is great and feels like some home cooking from grandma. Nostalgia is something they serve up daily, especially the Doukhobor Borscht (my little Ukrainian heart exploded). They even have take away items that you can indulge in at home. But the thing that stood out the most was the way their staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, from the initial walk in, directing the line, and even while we waited for our takeout I think every staff member came by and made sure we didn't need anything. Our hospitality industry is lacking in that connection and level of care. One last thing, Crystal posts the daily specials in such a heartfelt way to their Facebook page that it's almost impossible to not give a shout out to this little small business and give them some community love that they so deserve.
