Marmalade cat cafe used to be my favorite place to go when I was younger. Whenever I go now the flavours and quality of the food is lacking. Yesterday I bought a blt croissant sandwich and it was vile. Tasted sour and the bacon was grey and extremely undercooked. Unfortunately this place is good to grab a quick coffee but food wise I’d probably head somewhere else.

First the good. Atmosphere is great. Nice and relaxing, no loud music blaring. Plenty of seating. The bad. Ordered a peanut cookie; it was so dry I couldn’t even break it in two. When I returned it to the cashier telling her it was dry and stale, she just stared at me and said it was made that day. Did not offer a replacement cookie. I had to my complaint until she finally said she would give me another one. The “Health” cookie was good, and was like the peanut butter cookie should have been.The coffee was lukewarm.Parking: Not a lot available

I order the pesto chicken panini, two other orders were filled and delivered to customers before mine was. That’s ok good food takes a few minutes, order finally arrives and it is lacking any kind of pesto flavour, after adding some salt and pepper this helped a bit. Upon opening the sandwich up I discovered artichoke, this wasn’t mentioned on the menu board at all. I tried to eat the chicken by itself but it just didn’t taste right. Needless to say my stomach has not been good all afternoon! Word of mouth goes a long way! The quality of your food has declined greatly in the past year.Cheers!

It's a pleasant place to sit & very clean (their street-side patio area is nice in the summer), and the staff are nice ... but, there's very little parking so it's best suited for a neighbourhood clientele walking in the area.
