I got the 9 piece platter. It was decent. The chicken was hot and crispy, the taters were well seasoned but a variety of sizes, the coleslaw leaves something to be desired.

The woman who was working at the front counter was extremely rude and her demeanour made you feel like you were less than welcome. The toilet paper roll in the bathroom was tightened so badly that only half a sheet came out of the dispenser after scratching at it for 10 minutes. I left pissed off and won’t return.Parking: Nobody around at all, now I know why. Plenty of parking when you have mean people as employees.

The food tasted very bad. The taters were so oily tasted like pure stale oil. Burger was okay but again not worth $13. Also forgot to give me coke with my doordash order. Please you can be better with taste, quality and punctuality of the order details.

You come to get fried chicken you get fried chicken.E.g. KFC in it’s prime was really good fried chicken. It had a unique taste that made you want to come back over and over again. It’s like an addiction.Popeye’s has its own uniqueness with crispier, crunchier and drier chicken which also made you want to come back.Mary Brown’s chicken is just regular. Nothing unique about their recipe.You come for fried chicken you get regular fried chicken..Not that it’s bad. But it doesn’t have something in their fried chicken that makes you WANT to come back or MAKE you come back. You come back because you’re hungry and just want fried chicken.

First time in Kelowna Mary Browns Chicken. Searching for halal food and finding out there is one Mary Browns in Kelowna. It's a small shop in a shopping strip on Highway 97. I was there around 1 PM, wasn't that busy at that time, and the store was fairly clean. Separate washrooms for guys and gals.I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich Combo but the server didn't ask whether I wanted Tater or Fries. I ended up with too salty tater, that's why 4 star in food; if you put less salt you can add more but if it is too much there's nothing much you can do. The sandwich was good as usual. The server was welcoming, nice, and didn't try to upsell. I will try again!Dietary restrictions: They serve halal chicken.Parking: There are a lot of free parking spaces in front of the shop.
