Yesterday when I entered the store I was not greeted at the counter, the only other person in the store was the woman working there. I ended up waiting 10 minutes before being able to take my order all because she decided calling people was more important. It's not even the fact the corridor where you make the food is a little hidden, I even moved to the left of the counter so I am visibly seen from the hallway. She ended up walking right past me into some room while on her phone.

17$ for a burger is a scam

My son and I went to this location on Friday 27,2024 1pm I wanted to oder just a Bacon cheeseburger and a poutine, the lady told me she can't do that and have to order a double stack with smoked cheese. Well the burger paddy's were so over cooked and very small, under a 1/4" thick, barely any lettuce just a gross tasting burger....No flavor at all and poutine was cold also. Do not go there to eat save your money and walk over to DQ so you at least get what you pay for.

My bacon and avocado sandwich had plenty of cheese, but barely any bacon and avocado. It seemed that there was mayo instead of the promised corn salsa which made the sandwich runny. If the owner can only reply with the generic corporate reply, please don't bother for I will be reporting the obvious shorting of toppings to the head office. Afterall, franchise owners that don't meet quality and/or quantity standards inevitably hurt not just their own business, but the reputation of the franchise itself. I know for a fact having been to other Meltwich franchises that they are not providing the quantity of toppings they are supposed to. Hopefully the head office will crack down on this. Until this franchise smartens up and provides the portions they should, I do not recommend eating here.

I ordered a couple of burgers off Uber Eats, the packaging wasn't sealed, and I was hesitant to eat them. The burgers were not what the picture looked like at all, barely any lettuce, and just didn't look very appealing.

Went to Meltwich on lakeshore today to get my son a cheeseburger. They have a kids menu with a kids cheese burger, or a grilled cheese, or chicken strips, all for $7.95. I ordered the kids cheese burger and the woman looked at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about. She said we could have the classic burger with double patties. I tried again to explain that we wanted the kids cheese burger. To which she responded “you can have the kids grilled cheese”. I pointed at the menu behind her and she clearly did not know they had a kids cheese burger. So… she said “no, you can have the classic burger with double patties” to which I responded “how about you leave the second patty off and we call it a kids burger. “ and then she said “we don’t have that”. The whole thing was insane. Anyway, I left.
