I went last week and the lights were off open sign was off but doors were unlocked and nobody was in the building. We went back today and online it says it’s open but they were in fact not open again although all lights were on.

SIMPLY THE BEST ICE CREAM IN KELOWNA!!!

This local family ice cream shop gets my top vote. From the time I arrive and someone smiles at me and says, "Oh hi, how are you?" and sounds like they really mean it, to the top shelf creamy dense quality of ice cream (think Ben + Jerry's), Gorgeous Georges Gourmet Ice Cream is my first choice!

I've always loved their Lavender Honey, but today I took a small detour and tried a small cone with 1/2 + 1/2 so I could taste a new flavour Lemon Poppy…and yes, it was just like a lemon poppy seed muffin, complete with little dabs of cake. YUM!!!

It's not easy to make a plaza storefront shop welcoming, but the little tables and chairs out front do just that (perhaps umbrellas for really hot days would be a good add). Anyway, I'm not there for atmosphere, I'm there for ice cream.

The other day we tried a new spot in town and it left us feeling disappointed. The ice cream was less than creamy with ice crystals in it, and was served in really tiny scoops. GG is never stingy. Their waffle cones are fresh and crispy. And their service is homey and friendly. Always easy to park.

Shrinkflation has hit this ice cream parlour hard. $8.50 for a “double scoop”.

Owner is a super cool guy, and the ice cream tastes stellar.

The ice cream here is so good!! This has become a regular stop for our family. They have lots of great flavours and great quality. Some of our favourites include banana cream pie, birthday cake and bubble gum. The scoops are big, even for the kids cone. The prices are good and service is quick.

Kid-friendliness: The have lots of kids options, a kids cone option and seating outside for messy kids like mine.

The ice cream is good, but nothing to write home about. Would have just as well bought a tub of Breyers and called it a day. Pretty small scoop considering it cost $5. I think if you get a waffle cone they may give you more, however, you will get dinged another $1.50 so be aware of that haha. Anyways, I doubt we’ll be back. Even though Parlour and Moolix are all the way downtown, I think they’re way better value/quality

THE ICE CREAM IS MADE RIGHT THERE! Yeah, homemade frikin ice cream!! there's nothing like it, obviously! Every flavour is worth trying, and the afogatto is an absolute treat!

I have visited this place a few times during open hours, and the door is consistently locked when I call I don’t receive an answer even though Google hours say it will be open very unimpressed

We ordered an ice cream cake for a family members birthday and it was absolutely delicious! It was perfectly crafted with amazing caramel filling and chocolate ice cream. Skip the DQ cakes and just special order one from Gorgeous George’s!
