OAK + CRU Social Kitchen & Wine Bar

WOW We had a new server she was sweet but had obviously no training..management needs to manage(not have a staff meeting in the restaurant). It. took over 30 mins to get our 9 bills and some had 40% gratuity included on their bills..best not to overwhelm new staff with a large reservation.

The food was completely average (just what you would expect from a hotel restaurant). The prices were very high, so very poor value for money. Perhaps it was just our server, but the service was very bad. Find somewhere else.

Dry AF. Ordered a burger for room service today. Tell your staff to forego packing a spoon for my burger and think to pack condiments. If I'm going to pay $30+ for a hamburger and you ask for an 18% tip then get small but important detail right. 0/10.

Wow this place really killed the vibe on the last night of my Bach trip! First we were sat outside (per our request) but none of the heaters were working and no one really cared or showed urgency to try to get them going when we mentioned it a few times. Then a handful of the things we ordered were out (but we still *almost* got charged for them because they weren’t removed from the bill?). No soup, no short rib, something was missing for the fancy espresso martini option, you would think this place would stock up before a busy Saturday but nope. The waitress was kinda condescending for no reason - she didn’t really care that they had nothing available either, which I mean I get it’s not her fault, but at least make an effort. And what food they did have, was mediocre. We waited forever for our food, only for me to still be served a cold pizza with a soft crust. I would highly recommend you go anywhere else. I hear the breakfast team is much better, if you do really want to try this place. All my friends and I left super disappointed in our experience, not a single person enjoyed their food or service.

I had their tenderloin steak here. It was so tasty that I had to ask the name of the chef. Special thanks to Maui! You're the best chef!

I stayed at the hotel with my bride tribe and had dinner at Oak + Cru on our first night. Great vibes, atmosphere, perfectly located by the boardwalk! Above all, we all had a positive experience from such warm and welcoming staff and good food! I would recommend to anyone or any group!

Firstly, putting celebration under our reservation meant they asked if we wanted to use their beautiful wine room. The weather was too incredible to not sit outside, but the thoughtful gesture was noted and appreciated.
Second, Claire our server was incredible! So quick and efficient and made our special celebration so much more memorable than we could have ever asked for!
The service, food and drinks we ordered were delicious and will definitely have us coming back for more!
I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family and will also be sure to mention Claire gives the best experience to be had!

Staff are amazing, from the hostess and servers to the kitchen staff, excellent service. Very kind and friendly, love the recommendations they had for food and drinks. Always a positive environment, clean and great views. Thank you for another great Easter weekend

Breanna is a phenomenal server! 11/10 She took care of details that we hadn't even thought of. Dinner was fabulous too. I loved the mushroom poke tower!

Had a great dining experience at OAK+ CRU! The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the food truly stood out. A big shoutout to Praveen in the kitchen, his attention to detail and passion for cooking really came through in every bite. The dishes were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Also, the pasta made by Kamal was amazing, rich, creamy, and full of flavour. The service was smooth and friendly, which made the evening even better. If you’re in Kelowna, this spot is a must visit.

The food was amazing. Service was wonderful and the whole team was very nice. Monique took fantastic care of us, she was amazing! The truffle chips which were an amazing start to an even better dining experience. Would 100% come here again in the future.

We are regulars here for breakfast. Love it. The feel and view are great! The staff are friendly and professional. The food is always good!
