We went in yesterday, we were seated near the kitchen where it was easy to see in. The coffee was not good, it seemed old, but that’s fine.
The main issue was our food sat in the kitchen ready for 10 minutes while our server was on her personal phone, and the other servers were just hanging around doing nothing. Personal issues can arise at work so I understand the server but someone else should have covered for her rather than letting our food sit for over 10 minutes. Then, what seemed to be the owner hand picked a potato off our dish!! Wow. He picked up a potato from our plate in the kitchen and ate it. That was the last straw.
We left without getting our food and went to another place, and asked to just pay for the coffee and leave.
Sanitary issues are not something to be played around with and it is absolutely not okay. Personal issues arise at work but it is important that your team is there to coordinate and help you out.
There’s no next time.

Atmosphere too is fine but there is nothing very special to it. Just nice and clean; but the amazing food and service casts a shadow on the atmosphere ;) İf you don't go ode to their closing time (3pm) you wait a bit, like 5-10min) there is usually a line.

This place is fast becoming a traditional stop every time we visit Kelowna. Pardeep gave great service on this occasion, and the food was outstanding, as usual. Hoping that a Pur & Simple shows up a little closer to home, as this is now my favourite breakfast spot.
