Service...not so great. Pretty bad actually and non attentive and non engaging our server was. Had to ask others for coffee refill(s) and had to get anyone else's attention on no milk for coffee and to get an extra napkin etc etc. Took a long time to just get menus too and when I thanked for the menus, (non sarcastically even), all I got was a grunt back my way! I do do grunts as am not a caveman! Just one of the worst service experiences yet in Kelowna.

Excellent food. Went for breakfast with friends and they didn’t disappoint. Great place.

Porter's is a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. While some guests found the soups lacking, the egg dishes were a hit, and the classic breakfast with sourdough toast was noted as excellent. The Chicken and Waffles continue to receive praise for their perfection, with the southern fried chicken and maple syrup combination standing out. Portions are generous, making sharing a dessert a good idea. Recently, Porter's hosted a wonderful wedding and milestone birthday celebration for 30 people, where the buffet bites and service were very good. Reservations are advised on weekends due to popularity. The restaurant offers a variety of options beyond traditional breakfast items, making it suitable for family brunches and special occasions. The big, airy space allows for lots of light and room between tables, and it includes children’s booster seats and high chairs, with generally good parking. Guests have enjoyed friendly and helpful service, although there may be times when reservations experience delays due to high demand. Overall, Porter's remains a must-visit in Kelowna for a tasty meal with friends or loved ones.
