I hope you like unseasoned concrete. I am a visitor, and that single meal was quite literally the worst food I’ve ever eaten (If you can call it food). I’m still shocked that something served on a college campus could be that awful, processed, and unsanitary.
From what other students have told me, many of them feel stuck eating there and would rather starve because they can’t afford to eat out all the time, especially when the dining plan is mandatory and costs around $7,000 a year. It’s ridiculous to pay that much for food that makes a McDonald's garbage bin out back look like a 5-star restaurant.
This is not an exaggeration, and I wouldn’t recommend Prichard Dining Hall to anyone unless they are conducting a scientific study on how low food quality can legally go.
Please don't eat here.

I go to school here, and like who even approved of these meals!? Most of them suck, like the seasoning? It's either nonexistent or gross. The meals themselves are just lackluster and tastes bland or bad and sad. This is mostly about the Chef's Table. The dessert options need to be better. Make cream puffs permanent. There's no Nutella. The rice is atrocious. It's actually disgusting, the plantopia rice especially. It's tough and doesn't stick together. Please just use a rice cooker, and use white jasmine rice. The only star this place gets, is the god-send sushi. That thing is delicious. Oh the hash browns and bacon are good too. Most of the vegetables taste funky. Butter chicken is good imo, but some ppl say it sucks. Pasta place and all the other places are okay. The spinach pasta and nachos pasta tho??? Yum. I paid so much for a meal card, yet I find myself actively avoiding the food. The fact that you cannot bring food inside or outside is a crime. It's rude. And makes no sense. Like excuse me. Let me bring my sandwich out. I paid for this bro. I'd be better off getting takeout every day. The mango is amazing tho, fruit is okay.

The staff are great, but I really don’t get the food options. People clearly liked the ice cream, chicken tenders, and pepperoni pizza, but they actually reduced how much they make. I honestly find it confusing.

Standard university food court fare. Pricey at $14.00 for breakfast that I shared with my son, but the walk in crowd without a meal plan is t exactly the target audience.

Don't know why people here giving low ratings, I would give it 10 out 5 if there was an option. Compared to the price, and the facilities it provides, this is the best deal.

Not as bad as people make it seem
Staff are nice but the food quality fluctuates a lot (one good meal every 10 mid meals).
Wise advice: If: you are not forced to buy the meal plan, please do not buy it.

I have only been eating here for 6 weeks but it’s already unbearable, raw pink chicken, a large piece of bone in my burger, “fresh fruit is never ripe and always bruised”. Extremely small portions for the amount of money I have spent to have a meal plan.

As a grad student who isn’t on the meal plan but wants an affordable and filling meal while on campus, I enjoy Pritchard. I’ve only been here twice but I find the food is pretty good for the price you’re paying. Lots of options to choose from including lots of vegetarian and healthy options (in my opinion). I understand that if you’re on the meal plan and have to eat here every day it might not be the best, but as someone who just comes once in a while I think it’s great for the price. Staff are also very friendly!

I would genuinely give this 0 stars if I could. The food is awful, the place is unsanitary, and to make it all worse students don't have a choice, I have to pay 3500$ a semester for a MANDATORY food hall that serves nothing but garbage, and I repeat $3500 for 4 months. I would like the food to be somewhat acceptable. In my most recent visit I was told I cannot take more than one Tostada at a time, I have to eat come back for every Tostada served on the smallest shell of all time. They say they do this for convenience but it's very clear they're just raking in as much money from students as they possibly can trapping students in certain housing units into a predatory food system.

This place without a doubt deserves one star for every single category. Many students on this campus express similar grievances over the state of Pritchard Dining Hall.
With regards to the food, it is bland, oftentimes either overcooked or undercooked, and has been known to give several students food poisoning. There is no variety whatsoever, and suggestions made by students are disregarded. Bear in mind that all on-campus students are required to purchase this overpriced yet underwhelming dining plan.
Cases of unwashed vegetables, unclean silverware, and dysfunctional drink stations are typical, and merely represent the tip of the iceberg. The poor state of the food is clearly a reflection of Pritchard Dining Hall's lack of respect for its customers. Despite several complaints being filed, no steps have been taken forward to address any of the aforementioned issues.
As for the atmosphere, sometimes, they show strange nature documentaries that people probably wouldn't want to watch while eating, but this is a minor problem in contrast to everything else students complain about.
My worst grievance isn't even with the cafeteria itself; it's the fact that Google Reviews has no option to give this place a half star (as opposed to one star), because half a star is the rating that Pritchard Dining Hall ultimately deserves.
