Best coffee in Kelowna. Excellent service and baking. The owner,Max, ensures that you have a great experience.
•September 2024• cute themed coffee shop
It is one of the nice places where you could sit and spend time. I liked their ambiance and you have nice places to sit and work if you like. The staff is very kind and welcoming. It was my first time being there and I tried Chae Tea Latte which was amazing and tastes really nice. I spent enough time working on my laptop and sipping my Chae. Loved the place and will go again

I've wanted to visit this coffee shop for a long time, and finally stopped in for a cup in early January 2024. I was initially drawn to this cafe due to its great name, look, and the fact they have hundreds of vintage books. I was not disappointed. I had an "African Fog", which looked and tasted fantastic. Before coffee, we browsed the books and found the owner to be extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to our many questions. We were surprised at just how many books there are, as there are rooms in the back containing magazines, cook books, novels and more from many bygone eras. There are also several antiques available - furniture, ornaments, and so on. Eventually we ordered coffee and lunch and found a seat. The food was good - I had a Jamaican veggie wrap, which was very tasty. My friend had a soup and grilled cheese, which was apparently good as well. The baristas were super friendly and joked with us. All in all, I would highly recommend stopping by Pulp Fiction Coffee House, as it offers something for everyone: good service, coffee, food, and the terrific old books and antiques.

Same old guy who owns the other shop. Rude, discriminatory, non inclusive. Very expensive coffee. Much better experiences just down the road on the main strip. And more affordable. Avoid this place like the plague !

The atmosphere of this place is great, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the avocado toast with added bacon and egg. While it looked pretty and tasted okay I have issue with the egg, or lack thereof. It was maybe only 1/3 of an egg... when adding an egg to a dish you would never expect to only get part of the egg. Also the egg was a hard scramble, the bottom was crispy (very off-putting in an egg), and it was tough and rubbery... and basically cold. And there were bits of some kind of mystery meat mixed into my egg. That's the egg in the centre of the food...with grill marks! Who grills an egg?! Anyways, in todays economy at least it was priced okay.

Top drawer. Attention to detail. Not a coffee person myself, so I cannot attest to nor judge people that choose to throw cappuccinos in the trash, but I like what I see at pulp fiction.
Atmosphere is authentic and enjoyable! Unfortunately the coffee is very dark and acidic. Also have heard consistently from others who've worked there that the owner treats his staff very poorly. Tips are not equally shared and food prep is below sanitary and safe. Personal experience with the owner was uncomfortable as well. Will not be going back.

Love this place, my matcha oat latte was perfect!
great spot!
$7.30 for a overly sweet and burnt tasting latte?? Blows my mind
Excellent coffee, tea, food, and overall service. Friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere, decor, vintage books, and music take you back in time and you leave feeling great. Cozy and warm in winter. Beautiful outdoor seating, with lots of sun, in summer. An outdoor piano for the musically inclined. There is a rare books and antiques section in the shop that I have yet to explore. All the more reason to pay Kelowna's most unique--and best--coffee shop another visit.
OMG, the coffee. So good! I browsed the store as they made my breakfast sandwich. I savored every bite as it was SO good. Wish I had the time to return during my visit, it was that delicious. This is a must visit place.
