Veryyyy cool spot! A lil musty from the antiques, but the walls are lined with old old books and they have an antiques shop inside! The hazelnut oat milk latte was the best foamed I’ve had in a longgg time, not overheated like at most cafes. Didn’t have much vegan pastries :( but that is not unexpected lol!

Max the owner is an inspiration, walking to work and serving so diligently and graciously to the many customers for so many decades. It’s an experience of charm and relaxation to enjoy the many books and nooks and tasty treats here. Drinks are delicious and hearty. I am so grateful for spaces like this in my community.Vegetarian options: Many options available

Really cool atmosphere! The menu format was slightly confusing but they have a wide array of options and non dairy alternatives. Staff were professional and friendly; the carrot cake and chai tea latte were delicious. Might not recommend for studying as it’s too intimately spaced not to hear your neighbours conversation.

Stopped here for coffee on my way to the airport today. I had a honey vanilla latte with my usual oat milk and it was deliciousssssss. Unique place with a unique vibe and the pastries looked good too but I didn't try any this time. Only deducting a star because all the staff I interacted with weren't friendly at all, the most standoffish people I've seen in Kelowna, everyone else was so nice here lol. Oh wellllllllllStill recommend because like I said, the coffee was amazing!

The food was good, and the atmosphere was cool but we were profiled immediately when we came in, me and my friend are visiting Kelowna so we have travel bags but nothing warranting the rude stares from the staff, they looked offended that we were in the cafe especially when we sat down, the brunette female staff member at the asked “are you guys ok?” when we went to the front and we clarified “we’re ordering…” and she was like “oh ok good i wasn’t sure…”. This place definitely gives off pretentiousness, would not recommend unless you look wealthy or are ready to be judged.edit: We had one suitcase… as we are travelling and wanted food and drink before getting on our ebus down the street… so we go to a cafe… I don’t see why that should raise alarms. And the only reason we would have been “insecure” is due to the nasty looks we got for simply sitting down at a cafe, this is not a fine dining restaurant lower your standards. Unprofessional response to a genuine critique, unnecessarily rude to customers you made feel unwanted.

Great ambience, lovely coffee selection, special retro vibe. One of my favourite places in Kelowna. The added book store/collection (etc) is really what makes Pulp Fiction bespoke. I have found some special gems and can read some while sipping a perfect latte - what more could you ask for?

The coffee shop is nice, if a bit expensive, but the rare and old book shop is incredibly cool, staffed by the owner when I went who went out of his way to make sure we knew where all the collections were and help us find what we were looking for, definitely the best vintage bookstore I've seen in Kelowna. The book prices are higher than a typical used book shop ($5-$50+ for some very old or rare books) but there are options here that are unlike any I've seen at other used bookstores and it's far more curated too. Very worth a visit for any book fan!

Enjoyed meeting a friend for tea at Pulp Fiction last week.I love chai and turmeric lattes and decided to try a turmeric chai latte with oat milk. I think I'd really like it, although there was way too much turmeric in this one and it overpowered the whole drink altogether. They had a festive list of bevies available to choose from which added a unique twist on your usual, familiar hot/cold drink options.Atmosphere is really fun; lots of books, records and things to look at and a unique vibe to the overall experience. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I went there years ago, and was surprised to see it's still around and doing well. A great little coffee shop with fabulous ambiance.
