The best part of our meal was the service. Our server Lachlan was really great. Pleasant, competent, informative. 2 of the 6 people had an issue with their meal. He took care of it in a most pleasant way. My husband and I were pleased with our food. All in all a very pleasant experience which we will repeat.

We had a family brunch here with a wide range of ages and there was something for everyone which is notable as it's not a large menu. We really appreciated that there was a kids menu and it was delicious and healthy! Each menu item is extremely well considered, perfectly balanced flavours and textures, just the right portion and absolutely delicious. It was a perfect experience. My only feedback is that we called many times to make a reservation for 5 but no one answered the phone, I was able to book for 4 using the open table Ap (but not for 5) and when I arrived the restaurant accommodated us for 5. It just felt clunky.

Fabulous food and ambiance. Our waiter Fred was superb as always. It was my husband's birthday and he made it a special night for us. A complimentary glass of bubbles when we arrived and a wee little dessert treat with a candle to end a perfect evening. Thank you Quail's Gate!

We went on a wine tasting with our sommelier being Lark. She was so helpful and explained a lot of what makes the wine taste different. We also tasted a lot more wines as compared to what they had on the menu so we were able to taste from a wide variety of choices. 10/10 would do again and would recommend to my friends
