We enjoy this Restaurant immensely especially their Brunch. Unfortunately, it only runs until Mother's Day then back in the Fall/Winter. Food is amazing, Restaurant, Gardens are beautiful with a view of the lake in the distance, staff is always pleasant and the view from the Winery is amazing. We will definitely be back as we have for the past 25 years, highly recommended!
The food was excellent, but unfortunately that's where the praise ends. The dessert was a letdown, and the service was inattentive throughout. Having the bill tossed on our table without a word as the server walked by was especially classy way to end the evening.
We have been coming to quails gate and the restaurant for close to 20 years and really never had anything less than an exceptional experience- however being charged for water and bread despite not being informed of the charges seems to take a bit from the experience for us at least - there were other “additional charges” for the tasting meal which were posted but we did not necessarily notice when ordering so would have been nice to been advised about - overall good experience...
