Great setting, food is great, staff are friendly and not just attentive when it comes to the bill, like so many other places, that and the cocktails are a great start to an evening meal.

Daughter and I had a very pleasant evening and the wine selection which is from this area is fantastic!.. we chose a nice merlot. Our server was polite and courteous and was simply perfect!... kudos to the team in the kitchen as both our mains were delivered in a timely manner and tasted delicious! Try the duck rigatoni-amazing.. and I had the chicken supreme- gourmet all the way! I was surprised at how delicious our desert was! Chocolate mousse cake with the most delicious Strawberries (they dehydrated the strawberries and it was really delicious) The deserve 5 stars and my strong recommendation!

We have been to Big White for quite a few years but never been to The Woods so decided to try it. We noted online there was a two course special and thought we might try that. However we were advised the online info was out of date by a couple of weeks. In my view if you have a website that says it's available and people come for it, it should be honoured. However. So we ordered the brie starter to share which was ok. We also ordered the chicken supreme which was dry and not especially tasty and the beef ribs which were very similar to the ribs we had had in the Kettle Valley Steakhouse when it was here in Big White. The ribs were stodgy and the sauce was very sharp and tasted like it was from a can. We didn't order the dessert. We wouldnt go back again. The ambience is absolutely lovely and the waiters were friendly and attentive. The meal was expensive for one starter and two mains and a bottle of wine at nearly $200 including the tip.

The Woods is a high-end dining experience at Big White. It was quiet this weekday as it's been unseasonably warm at the ski resort. We had an outstanding server and thoroughly enjoyed the lack of hustle bustle of what is normally is a very busy time.

It had been 6yrs since our last visit to The Woods and we were extremely impressed with the changes. All 7 dishes our party chose from the menu were outstanding. Beautifully presented and delicious. A big thank you to Chloe whose banter made our conversation and experience that much more fun.

Short ribs and truffled chicken were delicious. The service was perfect with no pressure for us to order more food or leave fast. Cocktails are also really tasty. Pleasant experience and would come back.
This restaurant is a must do when staying at big white. It's small and has a beautiful romantic mountain ambience. Suitable for families as they have a kids menu too. We would definitely go back again next time we stay on the mountain.
My dinner tonight was amazing, I havnt had a dinner so nice in a long time. And I would love to thank scarlet for this amazing night. She made sure we were happy and always had a full drink in front of us. The food here tonight was so good, definitely 10/10 I had the short rib and it was the best I had. I would have loved to had dessert but I was so full I couldn't. This restaurant is run very well and I havnt left a review for a restaurant in years so that shows how much I really enjoyed this experience. Thank you again Scarlett and the staff for this wonderful experience tonight.
Celebrated my birthday and our server Chloe did an amazing job at making it feel special. Service was great and the food was delicious. Found the dinner was priced appropriately for what was provided. We had a later reservation so the restaurant was fairly empty, I'm sure the ambiance would be better when filled. Was provided a lovely cozy table by the fireplace. Thank you again for the wonderful service, birthday shot, and dessert Chloe!

Very disappointed that steak was not on the menu. I have always enjoyed the steak dinner there. I will not go back until steak is back on the menu. I ordered a Hamburg and it was the smallest 24 dollar hamburger I have ordered
A very nice evening out. The high top table was more comfortable than I expected and the table was in a quiet corner. Very pleasant. It seems to me that when I ate there several years ago, more attention was paid to having a different ambiance in the evenings ... dim lights, and candles on the tables. The lighting was a bit bright this time which spoiled the effect of the lovely wooden room. However, the food and wine were very good quality and we enjoyed our meal overall. Not inexpensive but seems to be worth the the money. Just try to dim those lights!

Everything in regards to food and beverage at Big White seems "Good Enough" nothing is better but sometimes worse. The Woods is no exception. Bathrooms are dirty and garbage is over flowing, staff seem disinterested in doing more than necessary. It's underwhelming in a world where everyone is trying to do better because they have to, to survive in business. Not Big White or The Woods for that matter.

Lovely room, friendly staff, drinks arrived promptly but food took over an hour. And when it came, not great. Short ribs were tough - had to ask for a steak knife. Broccolini deep fried - why??? Coq au vin was just baked chicken leg w wine sauce. Not the rich French stew. Disappointing and slow.

Excellent food and service in an attractive setting. Very warm welcome at the door and we were promptly seated at our table. Our chairs were definitely onthe high side which was fine but we were unsure about what advantage this gave us, being so high up. Also, the pop music was too loud. However, chatting with our engaging waiter was most pleasant and we have already booked a return visit to The Woods.

Our server was most pleasant and helpful. He helped my wife select a beer but providing a sample. Our burgers were over cooked, the salad came late and we ended up taking it home. The salad was fine,, the presentation excellent, but it was over salted. We went there expecting some of our favourites from past years and they were no longer on the menu. Since we had looked at the menu on line and our favourites were still listed there, we suffered some lunch bag let down when we were at our table.
