I attended a wine paired dinner with Red Barn Winery at Roma Nord Bistro. Danilo and his staff were incredible. The food was superb. So delicious. And so fresh. The ingredients are like nothing I’ve ever tasted in Canada, because most are imported from Italy. The wine pairings with the pastas were very thought out and enjoyable. This is a must eat in Kelowna. Grazie Mille!

Numerous people shared this is one of the Best restaurant's in Kelowna. Its TRUE. Hand made gluten free Gnocchi. The meals were made to fulfill flavour and given the artistic presentation. The attention to detail was fantastic, right down to the fresh rose on the table. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the dinning experience.

We thought we had a reservation but neither of us had actually booked. Our host immediately sat us at an adjacent table to the restaurant, served us Prosecco and amazing bruschetta. We were seated in the restaurant in about 15 minutes and had a choice of fun cocktails that were quickly served and enjoyed.
We ordered pastas, then meat mains and requested a recommendation for wines. The Cacio e Pepe was amazing, the Carbonara tasty but the real winner was the Quadrotti Burrata e Limoncello. Amazing!! And the wine recommendations were a perfect accompaniment.
Our meat course was the Filetto Del Macellaio and it was freaking amazing! A creamy peppercorn sauce that was to die for! The lamb shank and the prawns were perfectly cooked.
We finished with a small taste of some lovely limoncello. A lovely dinner, gracious host and there’s no question we will be back!

Danilo's passion for Italy is evident in every detail of his incredible restaurant. From the moment we arrived, he treated us like family, sharing his favourite wines and explaining where they were all from. The pasta with fresh truffles was so good – the flavour was incredible, and the truffles were shipped in from Italy the day before! Everyone at our table LOVED their meals. Danilo even told us to come back so he can sit down & give my husband and I recommendations for our honeymoon in Italy! If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, look no further. Five stars all the way!
