We had our wedding in the Beer Hall and it was absolutely amazing!! Jade and her team did an incredible job! The decor looked amazing, the food and drinks were amazing, and the staff were incredible! Jade was so helpful and provided so many great ideas and tips. It was our dream reception and our guests had a great time! Thank you so much!!

I had a terrible experience here yesterday with a friend. The staff brought me the wrong order and my friends order was cold( hollandaise was cold) . Instead of apologizing and rectifying it our server Brooklyn, suggested my friend try first and see if it was cold. Then we waited for over an hour for my avocado toast. The server finally came back and said the kitchen was backed up and we could go it we didn’t want to wait! Umm I put my order in an hour ago why is it not prioritizing in the kitchen? Again no apologies for the wait. Over an hour later I was brought a pathetic piece of toast with mashed avocado and the egg. No garnish etc.. should have taken all of 5 minutes to make. VERY disappointing Brooklyn and crew. You’re absolutely the B team on the weekends. We’ve been there before and had great service . It will be a very long time if ever if I return, unfortunately due to the attitudes we had from the staff. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Great beer and very tasty food!

I've given this brewery two opportunities and have been disappointed both times. I find them pretentious and unfriendly here. Their beer offerings are minimal and mediocre at best. The food isn't worth the money. Their only redeeming quality is the coffee bar which isn't a reason to actually stop here anyhow.

4.5 on the beer! Great little brewery, was here for a small birthday celebration. The patio is excellent and the overall vibe was great - they are very dog friendly. The outdoor service was not as good as the bar but pretty normal for brewery's like this. Food was really good and reasonably priced.

SUPER bad experience. We went with a group of 13 friends, two went in before to see if they had space and the guy behind the bar was super nice. However, we went to sit at one of the picnic table and wanted to move some of the white bar chairs so we could all fit. A woman server came over to tell us off saying “we arent doing that” in a condescending tone, after reassuring her TWICE that we understood she kept going in a condescending tone. We all work in customer service and totally understand when you have to ask someone not to do something… and that is NOT the way. We immediately stopped and sat down at different tables. We turn to the table next to us and they had done EXACTLY the same thing with bringing white chairs to their picnic table. We are a group of young students, most of us POC, not saying it has anything to do but the treatment felt childish and unfair. I honestly hope the young woman can get some EDI training on how to politely set boundaries in a customer service position. I have been a loyal customer of rustic reel but I cant see myself going back

Went to rustic reel with a big group of 13 friends from the university. Not only did our server speak to us in a condescending manner but would not allow for the group to sit together. We understand the need to have to return chairs that we had moved but were extremely frustrated and disappointed to see the table next to us having moved chairs in the same manner that we were attempting to. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

We hosted a trivia night in the beer hall of Rustic Reel and it was the perfect venue! From our first inquiry to bartending the night of, Jade was absolutely incredible and handled everything seamlessly. It was an added bonus that they recently got a projector screen that we were able to use! The food was exceptional and the beers were great too! It was the perfect space for our event and I cannot recommend it enough. Thanks again Jade!

We recently (Oct 5th) held our wedding reception at Rustic Reel in the Beer Hall, and it was the perfect day! We had a cocktail reception with small bites and dancing, and our friends and family are still talking about it! This review is truly about their event coordinator, Jade, and how fantastic she is.

From day one, her responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to listen to our vision made all the difference in bringing everything together for our special day. I felt confident that everything would go perfectly because we were completely on the same page, and she truly understood our vision.

On the day of the event, all the staff were fantastic, and the Chef was very accommodating when it came to customizing the menu. We want to say a HUGE thank you to Jade; you played a significant role in making our day so perfect and memorable. Rustic Reel is lucky to have you!

Awesome beer , staff and decor!

If you had asked me a year and a half ago I would have given rustic reel 5 stars - I don’t want to complain about it because it’s an amazing atmosphere and I can really tell the owners put a lot of care into it and I really want to love it, because we used to love it so much but some changes have taken place that I would want to know about if I was the owners - although it’s stilll such a cool atmosphere I want to explain why we have stopped going in hopes to see changes so we can come back soon . My husband and o used to go literally every couple weeks we loved it there - then they shut the previous coffee shop - the local chemist inside - my husband is a coffee snob extraordinaire and the local chemist was hands down the best coffee in Kelowna . When they shut it and replaced it with a different coffee shop the coffee became subpar at best - it’s very basic coffee - they Went from an excellent product to a much lower quality - it’s clear the same knowledge about coffee is just not there - it was disappointing and we stopped really going because bright jenny’s is around the corner and does have amazing coffee and there’s another great brewery around the corner with live music . The pull to come in all the time and have coffee a lunch and cider was done - What rustic reel had though that stayed with me was the best gluten free chicken sandwich in town and an amazing plum basil cider - sadly they no longer have the cider due to bc tree fruit closing so they have an apple cider like everyone else and they changed the gluten free chicken sandwich - it’s no longer made with the same gluten free bread it’s made with a bun now that is neither that good and where the actual chicken doesn’t fit it - they took something special and made it not work . We went today and the chicken just wasn’t nearly as good as it used to be either and the bun was really disappointing - quite dry , and to be honest I wouldn’t order it again because of this change (though the fingerling potato’s are still a 10/10!) While I will always love rustic reel and their community vibe and great atmosphere these little changes probably have made it so we will be once a year visitors as opposed to every couple weeks… I hope they make some changes as we do love the atmosphere but honestly the big draws are gone for us and the service today took so long for them to even acknowledge us which didn’t help ! We are cheering for you rustic reel and hope to see some positive changes so next time we come back we will be drawn into becoming regulars again ! Best of luck ! You can do this ! Kindest regards

Food/drinks/service was - NO not to be seen…

We didn't take food home; didn’t eat anything that much at the table and frankly one of the dishes was empty when we got it but seemed liked they had everything planned including the 3rd party oyster shucker - hmm.

Good selection of lower IBU beers, which is important for me. I had the Blonde ale, amber ale, pineapple wheat, and Raspberry sour. All were extremely tasty!!! Service was also good

Great food, pretzle, pulled pork (and the potatoes) and the bits and bites with the flight. Beers were top notch as well, especially the pineapple wheat
