Very nice location, with private beach access and a quality restaurant attached to it. The hotel itself is old and has no upkeep. Our balcony furniture was dirty and the balcony itself had weeds growing on it. The room was outdated and not worth the price. It’s nice that they have select pet friendly rooms but they make you sign an agreement upon check-in with very strict rules, such as your dog cannot use any furniture in the room. I’m unsure why they charge an extra nightly...

We had a wonderful experience at Manteo Resort. The service was excellent — the staff went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained,they anre doing reno's and it’s clear that guest comfort is a top priority. We also appreciated their professionalism and how they handled a small issue with care and integrity. Highly recommend, and we look forward to staying again!
