Stopped in to try their famous Kelownuts, and I was not disappointed! So good! Friendly staff as well. I will be back :)

Their donuts were actually good (we had better ones though) and so was their sub buns, light, fluffy and perfect for sandwiches. The pies were disappointing. We could be wrong but we had the impression that they make the dough with lard instead of butter. We could taste it and no one wanted to eat the pie. Others may like it. We would go back for some donuts and bread. But avoid the Boston Cream which was too doughy and heavy.

Kind of a disappointing experience. We came in happy and we asked the cashier one question about their desserts and she gave us attitude. She was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable I wanted to leave... But since we already had it planned we tried a Kelownut and a Nutella cream donut which both tasted a day old. They were dry inside. If they were fresh they would probably be really good.

By far the best breakfast and service Ive experienced, my line of work requires me to travel alot. And during September through January I'm traveling outside of the okanagan. Ive been to many dinners and this one just speaks to me.

Ordered a Black Forest cake. There was nothing wrong with it other than it just wasn’t a Black Forest cake. 2 layers of chocolate cake, one layer of cherry pie filling and the cream icing was not on this layer. The chocolate on the outside was waxy. Suuper disappointed as it was just a chocolate cake with cherries.
The cake we got was amazing.
Literally one of the best doughnuts I've had on my travels. It you want a transcendent home-made donut, make it a Kelownut. First so when I come back to Canada will be to get a dozen more!
If you are searching for a gluten free bread that is soft in the middle with a chewy textured crust, you will find it here.
The grilled cheese sandwiches you will make with this bread will be life changing. No exaggerating.

Needing a quick snack before a movie at the theatre close by.. I went in not knowing what to expect. We had great friendly service and incredible value. We paid around $6 for a piece of a cake , and a beef wrap. Can’t really beat those prices anymore.

We waited here while our car was in the garage for a repair. The speciality bakery & bistro is a welcoming place and the staff is super friendly and courteous. The food is delicious and the portions are good! They also have gluten free options!
We can highly recommend this place and if we have the chance we will definitely come back.
Vegetarian options: They have a delicious vegetarian omelette with a gluten free option for bread.
They also have pancakes.

incredible food, incredible staff! The best homemade mushroom soup I've EVER had.
Myself and my wife went for breakfast the other day. I was surprised at the size of the dining area. We were both extremely satisfied with the portions and delicious flavours. The staff was amazing to deal with, super friendly and helpful in many ways. The overall cleanliness was impressive. I took home a couple donuts and some fresh meat pies. Again both were delicious. I would highly recommend this hidden gem. I will certainly be back more than once. Fantastic service and great overall experience. delicious food. What more can i say. 5 Stars

You used to be my favorite bakery. :(
When did it become okay to charge over $4.00 (with tax) for a single "Kelownut" and diminish the quality and think it would be unnoticeable for semi-regulars?! I bought one yesterday and immediately noticed how much 'lighter' it felt. I thought they forgot the cream filling altogether until the last bite. Seriously!? Nope. Not okay.
Not long before this happened, maybe a couple months or so ago, I bought the last apple fritter at a different location and was gobsmacked at how awful IT was. Dry, stale tasting, VERY disappointing! Certainly not fresh. Couldn't even eat it!
THANKS for encouraging me to start baking again. I KNOW baked goods do not need to be this expensive. I'm for sure not paying your prices for this hit-n-miss quality ever again.
