“I love Rusty's for what it is. It's not at atmosphere I normally love and the food it not really aimed at my dietary preferences (vegetarian), but I like the staff. Their veg burger is pretty darn good too, its just there aren't really any other good veg options.

I go here every week so obviously I love this place, I just don't want to set anyone up for an amazing atmosphere or chef quality food. It's a pub and its good at being a pub.

I go before the night crowd comes and it's not too loud. Not sure what the volume is later though.“

“During my older son’s hockey game my younger son and I went into Boomers to grab a hot chocolate. The young fellow at the bar helped take our order and he was so pleasant to deal with we ended up ordering some food as well. The GF pizza was hot and tasty. No dry crust. My son’s burger and fries were good as well. Overall service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Definitely will be back. Looks like the new management is doing a great job.“

“Stopped by Dakota’s Bar & Grill in Kelowna and honestly, it was such a refreshing experience. The vibe here is totally different from your usual bar — it’s got this warm, laid-back energy that instantly makes you feel comfortable. You can tell it’s a place where regulars and new faces mix easily, and everyone we met — staff and guests — was super friendly and welcoming.

The food really surprised us in the best way. The protein in our sandwich was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. And the cheese? Just the right amount — enough to add richness without overpowering anything. One of our sandwiches was a little extra crispy, but not in a bad way — still super enjoyable. It felt like they actually care about what they’re serving.

There’s something about Dakota’s that makes you want to stick around a little longer — maybe it’s the cozy interior, the vibe at the bar, or the fact that you don’t feel rushed. “Love just Comjng up to Wings, and Just enjoying a Molson Canadian and some Wings can never go wrong with their WINGS… and just love sitting their at the Bar watching my Canucks games and or other NHL games, Really going to enjoy this time of year and forward S NHL playoffs are here but Canucks didn’t make it so it’s Go Maple Leafs Go and come an have a beer and wings watch some playoff hockey and enjoy, plus it’s not that far away from my house just a quick Walk there and quick walk Home down to Theodora Road near the Market on the corner… and I will be coming up Tonight have some beers and I’ll also be coming up Friday and Saturday night for hockey 🥅, Why be alone and watch playoff hockey when I can go to Wings and have bite to eat and some Beers … go out meet some people while beers go down.“
