Kirsten was so amazing to work with for our wedding. She answered all my questions leaving me satisfied and answered all my emails quickly. The cake we chose was the best cake we’ve ever had and the donuts were to die for, everyone loved them! Will definitely recommend Kirsten to anyone looking for desserts to be made at an event they’re throwing. Thank you so much Kirsten !

We were so happy with our beautiful, classic three tier cake for our wedding! We got to sample so many delicious flavour combos and Kristen was able to make the top layer gluten free for me. All the guests were raving about the flavours! Thank you!

Kirsten was a delight to work with and created the most delicious cake/cupcakes/tarts for our wedding! My husband (who hates sweets) took a bite during our cake cutting (mostly to appease me for photos) and he ended up eating a whole slice! He said it was the best cake he’s had. Couldn’t recommend more!

Kirsten came highly recommended by our photographers and it was the best recommendation we could have gotten. She is one of the most talented bakers I have ever encountered. Not only did our cake look so incredibly beautiful with the most delicate sugar flowers and perfect placed details, it tasted AMAZING! You also cant miss her donuts. They were an absolute hit with our guests and everyone commented on how they were so nice and light (not cakey) and flavourful. We managed to find a few extras tucked away the next morning and they still tasted delicious despite being a day old. Kirsten, you took my cake vision and crated something beyond my expectations. We loved it so so much and we're so grateful to have been able to have you be part of our day. Thank you!

We worked with Kirsten in planning our August 2021 (originally 2020) Kelowna wedding. She went above and beyond to reassure us through the ups and downs, planning and re-planning of our big (smaller) day! She was very responsive, organized, and so slick we didn’t even see her sneak in to set up our donut wall! But most importantly, her treats were AMAZING! I got married at the end of August at The Cove Lakeside Resort in West Kelowna. We hired Sugar Sweet Cake Co. for our wedding cake as I was looking for something beautiful yet tasty and that is exactly how it turned out. Kirsten did an amazing job at show casing our vision. We had a beach destination theme with gold, ivory and blush pink colours and we wanted our cake to match. I decided to do a cutting cake and cupcakes on a tower. We chose two flavours for our cupcakes (lemon raspberry and strawberry vanilla bean) and our cutting cake was lavender vanilla bean. All 3 flavours were delicious! We were not disappointed and I would recommend this company to anyone having a wedding in Kelowna or the Okanagan area.

Kirsten surprised us both when we got the first glimpse of our wedding cake. We had communicated via email and provided her photos of our ideas, but when it came to our wedding day, we were both happily surprised! Kirsten was easy to communicate with and we were thrilled with the flavours we chose for our wedding cake and cupcakes. We can easily say that our dessert table was a hit with all our guests and we received many compliments for the lavender lemon cupcakes we chose - which were a surprise as we knew this flavour might not appeal to all our guests. Alongside the lavender lemon, we had salted caramel chocolate, chai vanilla and strawberry lemon cupcakes, and a maple vanilla cake. We loved all the desserts and were glad we ordered more than enough so that we could take them home and enjoy them the next day. We look forward to booking Sugar Sweet Cake Company for future events!

Kirsten created the most beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding. During the planning process, she was very responsive and easy to work with. She brought our sweet tooth visions to life and the 'half-naked' carrot cake was a big hit at our wedding. I highly recommend working with Kirsten for your next event!

We ordered donuts for our wedding dessert but we decided to order a cake for the tradition of cake cutting at the very last second and Kirsten was amazingly accommodating! People are still talking about how delicious the donuts and cake were a week later! Once piece of advice – if you order donuts, order more than you think you need as many guests went back for seconds and thirds!
