Terrific breakfast diner, great food and great service, most tables only for 2 people, so not suited for large groups.

What a fabulous spot! Came here for a late breakfast and had the more bacon BLT, and my coworker had the breakfast special. Food was excellent. Quick service. Lots or regulars in there enjoying their food and drink and an awesome atmosphere of friendliness in the entire diner. Very sunny indeed!

If I was only rate the chefs it would be a 5 star, but unfortunately the horrible service really made for a bad experience. We had to wait ridiculous periods of time for our server as she was no where to be found. All we had left at the end was toast on our plate but we wanted peanut butter and jam. We waited a good 20 mins before she eventually came out from the back. She had food in her mouth, still chewing when she came to see if we needed anything else. She was clearly on break and eating her breakfast in the kitchen. We asked for both PB&J and she listed us the jam options - then came back with a different jam than we asked for and no PB. Our waters or coffees were not refilled the entire time we were there. We watched as other servers were helping and servicing their tables so I don't think it is all the servers across the board but just specifically ours - name was Lara/Lauren?. Now the food, on the other hand, was delicious - I would highly recommend the big dog hash! My husband ordered the chicken on a raft which was good, but mine was better! We were here on holidays and I am still thinking about this breakfast as the food was so good. I would recommend sitting on the patio as we sat inside and it was pretty hot, humid with still air.

An unassuming diner on the Kelowna waterfront. We had read good reviews while looking for a breakfast place. Glad we went. Good drip coffee. Generous food portions and lots of egg choices. Good food on a lovely day.

Nathan and Soojin made this incredible breakfast for me at Sunny’s this morning. The plate is beautifully decorated and while waiting at the bar I noticed their very upbeat and collaborative work environment. Everybody is having a good time and even singing 🔆⭐️ this has to be the best breakfast ever! 🥓 🥞 🫐 ☕️ 🍳😃🙌🏽

The hashbrowns are amazing

Plus the eggs benny uses focaccia bread which is so much better than english muffin

A true hidden gem in downtown Kelowna!
The service was warm and welcoming, with a personal touch that made us feel right at home.
We ordered the Big Dog Hash and the Everything Green—both dishes were beautifully plated, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. A fantastic spot for a memorable meal!

Tried Sunny’s for brunch during our recent Kelowna trip and let me tell you it would be a mistake not to go there. We have had plenty of brunches over the years but this place really stood out.

We started with coffee and tea which were both excellent but the real highlight was the Sunny Boy Sammy. This thing was a knockout. The croissant was buttery and flaky the bacon was perfectly cooked and the garlic aioli tied it all together. The hash browns on the side were salty crispy and exactly what you want on a weekend morning.

We also had the This Ain’t No Eggo Waffle and the name is spot on. It was fresh and fluffy with fruit on top and just plain delicious.

The place has a fun vibe with reasonable prices and the service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and on the ball.

The whole menu is a creative spin on classic brunch favorites. Honestly if I ever opened a brunch spot this is exactly what I would want it to be.
