I won’t name drop but our waitress was super rude and possibly biased. She wasn’t present for us even though she was our waitress and a nice gentleman filled in for her. I found this strange since she was tending to all her other tables surrounding us, including making conversation with others. My friend had warned me that she wasn’t very nice when i joined her, and I only saw her at the end when she wordlessly dropped our bill on the table (we weren’t ready to leave but felt as if we were being kicked out). She was extremely curt and her energy was the most unwelcoming i’ve felt in a long time. Nasty feeling that left a sour taste in my mouth. Behind us we heard her telling the older white couple behind us not to rush. Very bad vibes. Too bad since the food is amazing, but I won’t be back since I felt like my friend and I were treated worse than anyone else in the restaurant and we just wanted to get out quick because of her. Our city has a long way to go in terms of unconscious racial bias. Hopefully the next generation does better.

Great food! I wasn't expecting the interior to show the kitchen but it was lovely and the staff took care of us. It was cheaper and better than a bunch of the other places we tried!
Food was good, server should have known when to quit with wise crack remarks trying to say and get involved with a family situation that she had no business doingIf I was her boss I would seriously give her a lesson in customer service

What a vibe Sunny's is for a full experience of eating out. Robyn is such an incredible Chef and Manager. She made us feel so welcomed. Dayton is such a fun server who made the experience incredible as well. Now to talk about the food! Omgosh the flavors light your mouth up like July 1st. The hollandaise nothing sauce is to die for. Left feeling so happy and looked after. A must visit spot for anyone!!! Thanks Robyn and Dayton! ??
