“We had dinner there recently and I have to say it was the best sushi and meal we’ve had in a very long time! Staff were all so kind and friendly and the food was outstanding and very fresh. I’m so sad there isn’t a Bluetail in Vancouver. And prices were extremely reasonable. I’m so happy we found this hidden gem. Thank you“

“Great little place in West Kelowna. Service was great. Had the sashimi and sushi dinner box with a good miso soup. Very delicious and nice variety. Also had the green tea. Can’t believe I waited. Two years to return to this place as it is just down the street.“

“The service was great, the servers were super kind and answered all my questions. Now THE FOOD. The Beef pho was the best pho I’ve ever had. The beef was super tender and the server said it was boiling for 6 hours while the broth was super rich. The restaurant was super cute with a lot of decoration and had a very personal feel. Super Local and Super nice 10/10 (The pho was also very affordable only being 15.70$ after tax)“
“I hosted a potluck at my place and one person brought a sushi platter. It was so good that another friend and I went for lunch a few weeks later. The crab rolls have the most generous serving of crab ever. We had a combo lunch, including the crab rolls.“

“I can only comment on the food as I always get take out.
This place is a bit of a hidden gem. Extremely good food at great prices. Also, some of the best gyoza that I've ever eaten, and I've had my share.
5/5, will be returning again.“

“Very good sushi. One of the best negitoro rolls that I have had in a long time. Tight rolls that don't fall apart even with a lot of components. Fast and friendly service at a good price. And they have the crumb topping! Will be ordering again very soon.“

“Best sushi in The Okanagan, by far. Very large menu and the food is great with an open kitchen atmosphere.
Menu highlights for me are: Chicken Katsu, fried cheese gyoza, crunchy goat cheese, crab salad, beef tataki, orange bay scallops and the best sunomono and Tempura as well. Also the spider roll here is the best. So many specials as well. So good.“

“Gamjatang was edible ^^
The kids also enjoyed the Jjajangmyeon.
I went there with high expectations, but I was a bit taken aback because it was my first time seeing a Korean restaurant without any side dishes or kimchi even when ordering the main menu, but it seemed like most of the customers here don't have any experience with Korean food, so they just ate it without knowing it haha.
I don't eat a lot, but the rice comes in a bowl big enough to hold a side dish, and no matter how much you serve it like gobong rice, it's still not enough haha.
I don't think you should compare it to Korean restaurants in Calgary -
If you miss Korean food a lot during your trip, I recommend going there.“

“What a hidden gem! The pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food you receive, making it perfect for families and friends looking to enjoy a wonderful meal without breaking the bank. It's clear that the restaurant is family-owned and operated, which adds a personal touch to every aspect of the dining experience. The staff is warm and welcoming, always ready with recommendations. If you're in the area and craving Japanese cuisine, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!“

“I know this seems like a Japanese restaurant but hear me out, the Korean food (Korean Chinese food to be exact, like the black bean noodles aspicy seafood soup) was SO delicious. It is comparable to those found in Vancouver Koreatown! The servers were also very nice and attentive.I definitely recommend this place !!“

“Had tofu teriyaki. It was a big portion and delicious! It came with miso soup and rice. Good comfort food! A man, who I think might be the owner, works there too and personally comes around to make sure that all is well with your order. He is super nice and seems to genuinely care for the customers. My only thing was the music was a little off for me...
Vegetarian options: Tofu teriyaki
Dietary restrictions: No bell peppers or tomatoes“

“Easy to get a table for 6 outside on a long weekend.
The party platter was very generous portions shared by 3 people. Amazing flavor in the chicken pieces, not enough fries tho.
The sushi pizza my daughter had was small but she said was very tasty.
Overall great friendly service. Will definitely go back as there is a nice ratio of chicken to breading on the pieces.“

“Komo Sushi is truly a gem in Kelowna – easily the best sushi experience in town. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, setting the stage for a fantastic meal.
The sushi here is simply outstanding. The fish is exceptionally fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to find anywhere else. Each roll is crafted with precision and care, highlighting the balance of flavors and textures that every sushi lover craves. Their sashimi is sliced to perfection, and the specialty rolls showcase a wonderful creativity, all while remaining true to traditional Japanese flavors.
Service at Komo Sushi is equally impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure every customer leaves happy. Orders arrive promptly, and the team goes above and beyond to make recommendations and ensure dietary preferences are respected.
On top of all this, the pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of both the ingredients and service. Komo Sushi delivers incredible value, making it an ideal choice for both casual dining and special occasions.
To the owners and team at Komo Sushi – thank you for bringing such exceptional cuisine to Kelowna! This restaurant has truly set a high standard, and I look forward to dining here again soon. Highly recommended!“
