Excellent location. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. This was my 2nd time here can’t wait to go back. Every time we called the front desk they were amazing at pleasing us to make our stay better. We ate at the restaurant here every day and used the lovely pool.

Great location!! Right on the lake, close to downtown with plenty of restaurants close by. Nice big rooms with safe, iron & board, tv, fridge, hair dryer, very comfortable bed. No ice machine on our floor when we stayed and because keys are linked to your floor you can’t get to other floors. Parking is extra and the night we arrived there was a concert across the road so finding a spot was difficult that night but no issues the rest of the time we were there. Hotel has a nice pool and a good onsite restaurant. The boardwalk by the lake is fantastic for walking or biking and there is a nature reserve close by where you can see all kinds of wildlife. For lake enthusiasts you are close to the marina where you can rent sea-doos, go para sailing, cruising, kayaking, etc.

Location is beautiful. Super easy and quick walk to waterfront and downtown area (under 5 min). Nature walk: start at the back door of the mail lobby restaurant facing the lake, take the path around the lake heating right. You'll see ducks, a snall waterfall, little bridges, a stage, then on the beach, keep going and the beach turns into a nature reserve then a park. Keep going and the giant dolphin statue is on your right. Turn right and head along the sidewalk towards the hotel. The whole walk is maybe 30 min and it's really nice with the lake and mountains. Kasugai is only 5 min from hotel and is a cool little enclosed garden, worth a look. The breakfast at the hotel is SO good and prices are great, best looking kids meal I've see and the view is incredible. Vanilla Latte is perfect here too. Indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. Hot tub jets are really week but good if you want a hot soak. Sauna was out of order. Robes in the room are a nice touch. Very confortable bed.

This hotel is in a great location. We were there during the off season so there were no resort activities and no additional resort charge. For the price of this hotel compared to others in the area, I expected more. I booked through the Marriott app. It ask for a check in time. I requested 1pm, and that seem to be fine. After 10 hours of travelling we arrived at 1pm.. and our room was not ready. They sent us on our way and said someone will call as soon as it was ready. No Call!! So we headed back around 4:30 for our room and was greeted with the response of “no one called you?” She was the person that took my number. The room was nice. Yet the light was broken in the bathroom and the tub would not drain properly when taking a shower. The staff were polite and pleasant. Overall a nice stay but I could have stayed somewhere else for half the price.

The Residence Club unit was truly 5-Star, even though we were close to renovations of another wing of the facility. The resort staff were better than 5-Star if that is possible. Right from the very first contact; they were all friendly, helpful and understanding. Especially when we had damage done to our vehicle in the parking garage and had to stay an extra night - reduced hotel rate; extra special food and parking deductions, and the list goes on! WOW! Only downside - the new Delta Marriott automated reservation/information system - it simply does not work when "anything out of the ordinary occurs"!

We pre-booked in for a week in two suites. The listing did not mention that those two suites would be in a construction zone, however, or have shared balconies with the neighboring suites. Or that they were dated designs compared to what is shown online. When we asked if we could change suites to something that wasn't in a construction zone, we were told that they could book us into smaller rooms on the other side of the hotel. We asked about a partial refund, considering the $1, 200 difference between the two suites vs. the 2 standard rooms, and were told that the best they could do is one night of free parking ($30 value). And apparently, even that was a stretch. We will not be staying here again and would not recommend the experience. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.

Went for two year anniversary. They kindly upgraded our room and sent a little cake to wish us congratulations. Was a nice touch. Staff were really friendly. Bed were comfy. Jetted tub was a little loud but was still enjoyable.

Starting with parking, then the reaction from the front desk who had to stop flirting to check me in. Then the room, noise from the fridge kept me up for hours, not a chance to turn off or disconnect, I am writing this at 22:00 and I have to wake-up at 03:00. I had been asleep for 20 min and I thought a train was going to hit me, it’s actually the heating in the room. I’m Platinum with Marriott, no upgrade. Took me 30 min to schedule a wake up call, no one was answering. People screaming in the hallways, you can hear people talking outside the hotel. Definitely look for a better option, specially for this kind of rate

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Grand Okanagan Resort and while the location was great, I was extremely disappointed with the stay. The rooms are dirty, outdated and the prices were insanely high. The restaurant food is mediocre at best. It was overall a horrible experience until we met Benjamin, the manager. With one fell swoop, he elevated the experience to a whole new level. When we went to the front desk to issue our complaints, my entire party along with other guests mistook him as the General Manager. The way he handled himself, how he handled our complaints and how his staff look up to him. He was able to move us rooms to something we were happy in and made us feel like royalty. I would never stay here again unless it is guaranteed he will be personally looking after us. Thank you Benjamin!

One of the best SPG/Marriott property’s in Canada and definitely the best in Kelowna for both location and amenities. Highly recommend the two bedroom condos/lofts if staying with a family. There is also a three bedroom residence. Hotel has a boat lock in a lagoon and available slips where you can park your boat or seadoos overnight and tie up just steps from your villa. Recently opened spa on property.

Outstanding service whether at reception desk, Oak + Cru Restaurant and the in-hotel telephone line for any assistance. Brilliant location. We return at least couple times every year for week-long stays and are never disappointed. Really appreciated assistance from Brandon Olson and the ever-present Scott on the telephone help line. Many thanks to restaurant staff for courteous and attentive service esp Cassie, Monique, Emma, Noah and Gerome. See you all again soon.

Very Unhappy! I checked on Saturday Oct. 15, 2022 at around 7pm with 2 others for 1 large room with 2 queen beds and pull out sofe. The cost was above $650/night. When I approached the check in desk, I was not greeted or welcomed to the hotel. I was instantly asked for my ID & CC information. Not a great welcome whatsoever. Upon check in, I was told that there was no Overheight parking at the hotel, that I would need to find something on the street or at a parking lot. After getting my key, I went to find parking only to see that there was in fact overheight parking at the hotel! What a joke. I went back in and got my parking after all. The staff didn't even know there was overheight parking! Seriously!! The room was mediocre at best. 1 tiny bottle of shampoo for 3 guests. The beds squeaked and pillows were cheap. Only 2 robes available and very limited towels. The shower leaked onto the floor. The pool grounds were extremely dirty and not looked after. Dirty floors, the pool didn't look appealing and the inside hot tub had lots of gravel on the bottom of the floor, not to mention the jet tubs didn't work. The mens change room/bathroom only had 1 toilet stall and the lock to the privacy door was missing! What a joke! Could not even use the bathroom facility and was forced to go back to the room. Knowing that this hotel is supposed to be the Finest & Nicest property in Kelowna it is certainly not at all. Just horrible and overpriced experience all together. Would never recommend this place to anyone. They have all the potential of being an extremely successful property with its location and amenities, but really this is a run down and poorly managed property. Coming from many years of Relais & Chateau and 4-5 Diamond Hospitality Experience, I wasn't expecting this property to meet those standards, but expected more as this is rated as the BEST in Kelowna. I spoke with management about my experience in a private meeting and expressed my disappointment with everything. I was listened too and understood, but nothing was done. No offer to pay for my parking or discount my room charge. Only offered to join Marriot Rewards so I could get "free points" added to my account for future stays. This offering is surely not what a guest should expect. Overall, don't stay here. This will be posted on websites like trip advisor & Google. This hotel had every opportunity to make this experience at least satisfactory or do something to rectify our experience, but it failed on all aspects.

A stay at this hotel was on my wishlist for a while, but I was definitely disappointed in the lack of attention to detail during my stay. The price / image it tries to portray is “luxury”, but I feel as though the hotel is too big and too understaffed to be able to offer the true luxury experience that it’s guests are looking for. I did not access the amenities during my stay so I can’t speak to those, but the location is probably it’s greatest feature.

We had a one night stay on route back to Vancouver. Aware we had to pay for parking but this was the only add on or so we thought. On check out we was told a mandatory $20 had been added to our bill to cover leisure facilities. It did not matter if we used these or not, the addition cost is added to every room. There is no info that we could see on the web site. In the climate of being open and transparent why was this not made clear to us at the time of our travel company booking or when we checked in. Room was clean but basic with amazing views of the air in units! For one night we weren’t especially worried about the view but 2 thoughts 1) The hotel was not busy so did we have to be put in this room 2) The noise from the air con units made it impossible for us to open any windows so we had no choice but to keep the air con on in the room. Check out was 11am. We left by 9.30 really disappointed.

This is a bit of a mixed review....this hotel is in a beautiful location, and looks as though it should be of high quality. So a person wants to leave a good review. But, they miss the mark on almost everything. I had brought a large group to stay at the hotel and the entire experience from the beginning of getting the group booked, to making all arrangements, to the check in....even receiving the folio at the end of the stay.... has been absolutely painful. Not a good experience and for someone who does a lot of group bookings, I have to say this was one of the worst. I don't think I would want to go there again with this hotel. Some are seamless...this was not. For the hotel itself, my room was clean and seemed ok. Some of my attendees said their rooms were loud. VERY loud, all day, all night. We also found the hotel to be a bit disjointed. The set up is strange, from the placement of the front desk (which there should be twice as many desks for the size of the hotel), to the restaurant and the multiple "front entrances" it appeared to have. The rooms were all over the place, from one tower to the next. It just felt disorganized....all the way down to the staff. And definitely their process for cleaning rooms. That entire process needs to be revisited because it isn't working.
