The server was attentive and friendly but there were a lot of other misses in the evening. Drinks were good, food wasn't consistent. The music was way too loud, we were the first table in the place and we could barely talk to each other across the table. The server was not very knowledgeable about the limited menu, as they couldn't tell me for sure what might have gluten and what didn't. After some discussion with the other staff they could only recommend the beet salad as a safe choice. I found the beet salad so-so, it had strawberries in it that were rubbery and seemed old and tasteless, not sure why they were in there. Overall I wouldn't recommend the Ricco Room.

Pretty fun cocktail lounge with swings for chairs! I enjoyed the Port of Japan... First time I've seen soy sauce utilized in a cocktail and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

I was very disappointed with my experience at The Ricco Room. Their menu clearly states that gluten-free options are available, which is why we chose to dine here. However, when I asked about gluten-free accommodations, the ā€œoptionā€ turned out to be simply removing the bun from a burger, no gluten-free bun, no real substitutions.

When I asked further, the server explained that they have a very small kitchen and cannot properly accommodate celiac disease. While I understand the limitations of a small kitchen, the issue is that the menu is misleading. Claiming to have gluten-free options when the restaurant cannot actually provide safe gluten-free meals for those with celiac disease is frustrating and ultimately a waste of time.

If you have celiac disease or a serious gluten intolerance, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Don’t advertise gluten-free options if you can’t actually provide them.

Super friendly staff!! Love their drink menu, lots of choices definitely a little something for everyone. Loved the burrata! Devon was so helpful with his recommendations on what to try. Loved everything about the Ricco Room especially all the gorgeous plants both inside and outside. Can’t wait to come back.

We were looking for a spot to cap off our evening and I'm so glad we ended up here! Great cocktails, friendly service, and a fun vibe. Would definitely come back.

I ordered a drink with mezcal, and it didn’t exactly fit the taste notes that I was looking for. I talked to the server that was helping us out at our table, who was very helpful, however the manager was very adamant saying the drink was made to what was on the menu, even though I expressed that it did not have the same flavour notes of mezcal and tequila, and if he could please take the drink back as I did not enjoy it at all. He still charged me, even though I had expressed to take it off my bill with the sip I took of the drink, and still tried to put it on my bill as a soda drink as a charge on my bill, even though I expressed that I did not enjoy the drink. I would hope for future experiences that other people could talk to management and feel supported in their conversations rather than feel that their judgement in order drinks comes into question.
