Family owned, organic European bakery offering a beautiful slice of Germany and Switzerland with owner Sven Stein bringing homeland recipes to the heart of wine country. This charming “must visit” is located directly on the 97 highway in West Bank with parent shop in Kelowna and sister in Vernon- easy pit stop for touring, morning starters snacks or new lunch locale. Fun- it’s named affectionately after their pet donkeys. 🫏
Gluten free bread, rotating craft coffee poured, handmade pastries, custom cakes, delicious sandwiches and they cater.

Great coffee house vibe. Good coffee and chair pads on every chair! Loved the sausage rolls, macaroons. Clean environment. We sat inside and it was packed w people, so it must be well loved by locals. Quick service. Easy parking, and kids welcome - cookies for all!

Have been here a few times now and every time they seem to have very limited stock. I’m always expecting more but they have such a small amount on display. The quality of food is quite good but nothing exceptional. I like the day olds which allow one to choose something at a very reasonable price. It was buy one get one free.

Got really stale food here this time, called to let them know how bad it was and the lady let me know that they throw out there stuff after 3 days and freeze there stuff every night and thaw again and that she was sorry that I got a bad one or two .
I asked if they were okay loseing a customer like this and she said yes and that she was sorry . Very disappointing experience for the food and the customer service . For a fairly expensive bakery I would imagine you would get fresh baked goods if Walmart is fresher we kinda have a problem .

We would rate the service as 6/5 if possible. Matthew was knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, our visit was delight.
Whether you have something inside or outside, they have three different seating spaces to enjoy. The coffee was great, I have another one I want to try next time, we came too late in the day to have any food other than a peanut butter chocolate oat bar. But that was delicious. Staff were amazing. This is definitely a little hidden gem.

We stopped here for some treats before heading out on a 14 hour road trip. The man that helped us was so patient and friendly as we took our sweet time picking out all the things we wanted to try and the GF cookies, cinnamon buns, and pastries we got were AMAZING!

It’s been 3 weeks since we stopped in and bought a few things. My husband has brought up the cinnamon bun multiple times since then saying “it was the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had in my life”. Sadly we live in Edmonton so I can’t frequent this gem of a bakery.
