Mediocre Thai food, but probably the best in Kelowna since there is no variety. It is absurd that none of the dishes come with rice and you have to pay separate. The portion sizes are not big enough not really worth the money.

No question the food is delicious. We have been to Zabb’s many times over the past years. Last night was, however, a disaster. We invited four friends to join the three of us. After some starters we ordered a Set Dinner For 4. Others ordered Pad Thai, Paang Curry, Yellow Curry and a Massaman Curry. The time between the delivery of the first dinner and the 7th dinner was more than 10 minutes. One person still had not yet received their rice at that’s time. Those who ordered the meal for four had to remind staff that two dishes were missing and rice had also not yet arrived. I understand that it was busy, and we were patient, however dishes served to a single table should arrive within minutes of each other. There should be no reason to “forget” to bring rice. I don’t believe this was the fault of the friendly wait staff, it likely was the kitchen. There did not appear to be a manager in charge of the front. So even though the food is delicious at Zabb Thai I don’t think we’ll be back for a while - Kelowna has many good restaurants whose management understand the importance of providing a complete dining experience, especially now that dining out has become almost prohibitively expensive.
