I set up a table at the Christmas market, paying for the heated tent. It was crowded so myself and a friend moved outside. Staff did say we would get a refund. My friend received hers but after 3 emails from me, I have yet not received anything.
E and I haven’t been away from home for quite a while. So, we were thrilled to make plans for the upcoming long weekend.
We insured our old camper, booked a campsite, paid in full for the length of our stay, bought tickets for a long table dinner and invited our children to attend with us. Grist Mill & Gardens at Keremeos is an Okanagan gem with rich history and stunning gardens. The restaurant offers locally sourced cuisine, with dishes like the Ploughman's Lunch, which includes lots of fresh fruit. It’s a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful garden, the stream, and the sounds of birds. The staff is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. Visitors have praised tasting Woodford oven baked zucchini bread and apricots right off the tree, along with a small gift shop filled with local preserves and treats. The living museum truly takes guests back in time, and the charming setting makes it a perfect stop when traveling to or from Osoyoos. With restored history, knowledgeable volunteers, and wonderful food, it’s a place visitors will want to return to.
