I love Hugging Tree winery. First, the family that runs it are wonderful people. Second, their wines are fantastic. My new fav winery in the Okanagan. Don't miss trying their luscious reds. You won't regret it.

Hugging Tree Winery is a family-owned business set in the beautiful Similkameen valley, where visitors can enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere. The winery offers a wine tasting experience, with knowledgeable staff sharing stories and insights about the wines. Guests can relax on a lovely patio with a view of the valley and mountains, while listening to a cozy collection of records playing in the background. The staff is welcoming and helpful, making sure everyone feels comfortable. Visitors can taste a variety of wines, including a sparkling white, Chardonnay, and two reds, all appreciated by guests. The winery also offers shared charcuterie boxes, which look amazing and are reasonably priced, though they contain pork, and some guests shared delicious chicken pepperoni from an Okanagan-based business. Moon, the tasting guide, is very friendly and shares wonderful anecdotes about the vineyard and wines. The winery occasionally surprises guests with special gifts or jars of homemade jam, adding to the memorable experience. Overall, Hugging Tree Winery is a great spot to unwind, enjoy quality wines, and soak in the stunning scenery.
