From the moment we walked in, the warm and friendly service made us feel right at home. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, made fresh with love and care — you can taste the difference! The food was perfectly spiced, the naan was soft and fluffy, and the biryani was out of this world.

You have to try this place — whether you’re a long-time fan of Indian food or new to it, you’ll be blown away. So fresh, so flavorful, and the team is so welcoming. I can’t recommend it enough! Once you try it, trust me, you’ll definitely be coming back again.

“Wonderful little restaurant! They have excellent service, delicious food, big servings, and exceptional prices. I had the stir fry, chicken teriyaki style. It came with a side salad with a made in house dressing and I was told the teriyaki dressing was made in house too. It was all very delicious. My friends had the perogies and soup and salad. I am excited to try the perogies and breakfast food. You can tell the food is made with love. Everything was delicious from what the table said. I will be back for sure. I felt so welcome and at home. So good! I do wish they had a tofu option for the stir fry, because I’m not always a fan of eating meat, but the chicken was excellent so still a 5/5 to me. You can’t beat excellent service and delicious house made food. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Assorted tempura plate for lunch. All was good except for the asparagus which was very woody. I told the waitress and rec'd two more asparagus sticks; one was very good and one was better but still woody. Overall, duriong the past year all has been very good, jsut this compaint.”

“Absolutely amazing food and attentive service! We can recommend: 1) Pacific Rockfish Fish and Chips: flavorful, crisp breading and a Thick fish filet that was sweet and fresh tasting. Our Teen only needed the ONE pc Rockfish as it was huge! 2) Saturday Night special: hot honey BBQ Ribs with jalapeno cornbread, corn on the cob, house made macaroni salad, AND it came with fries (chips)! Amazing flavors, textures and really, enough to feed 3 people! 3) Roast Beef Dip with gravy and chips (fries.) Great flavors and filling! 4) Guinness Chocolate Pie- this was like the best fudge on a crumb crust...way too good to be missed, so we shared among 3 as we were so full!”

“We had an amazing treat at Ironworks Cafe & Creperie. So many tempting choices, both sweet and savoury. Three of us wanted to share two crepes, and asked if our choices could be cut into thirds. Renee plated the thirds individually with full garnishes. 🌟🌟🌟 We had the ‘Four Berries and Cream” (sweet) and the ‘Spinach, Artichoke & Brie” (savoury). Hmmmmm. Latte was excellent. 🌟 Locally owned, caringly staffed, local ingredients. So impressed. Thank you.”

“Is a great dining experience at Mr. Teriyaki & Ms. Sushi. The sushi is always fresh and the spicy pork yakisoba is delicious. Perfect amount of oil on the noodles. Perhaps the best part is that the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly making everything else that much better. Would highly recommend eating here!”

“A classic diner experience with a twist. There is a kind of westernized Chinese food fusion thing going on at Barnacles Barney's. We got the fish and chips, sweet and sour pork, and chow mein. The fish and chips were great, chow mein was decent, if a bit light on protein, and the sweet and sour pork was okay. I thought it was overcooked and too heavy on the sauce, although that would be a plus with rice.

Service was very friendly and as attentive as could be. One girl was running at least 6-7 tables of 4+ people. Definitely a hustler and sweet as well. We came in around lunch, so I was a bit surprised to see her serving solo.

As for the vibe, it's got the old school diner feeling. Pretty well fits in the rest of the tourist strip in Ladysmith. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!”

“Robert’s Pizza is well known for their pizza. We prefer the Neapolitan style of pizza so we thought we’d support local and try other items on their menu. I ordered the Caesar salad for two and the Honey Garlic Chicken Party Pack. The meal didn’t disappoint for the price point. We could have shared one of the Caesar salads between us but because it was already dressed we had to eat them both. The salads weren’t loaded with dressing which was good. The chicken wings were a nice size, a tad bit on the dry side but that didn’t stop us from eating one container of wings. The second container of wings put in the fridge for later. I would order this again.”

“We stopped in on our vacation to British Columbia at Ladysmith to have breakfast. Wild Poppy was our choice . I felt like I was in heaven seeing all the gluten and dairy free choices. The food was excellent and the staff super friendly . I was hoping the Wild Poppy Market would open a store in Sault Ste. Marie , Ontario. What a blessing that would be. Thank you”

“Great place to eat, I brought my dad here with my daugther all the time and they love it. The staff at this subway are great and they're really sympathetic with my father who has dementia.
I always get the rice bowls because I'm gluten free and it's more value for money this way instead of trying the gluten free bread.

“Decided to order from here again Website was a complete botch but the phone service was wayyy better than before. I revise my first opinion and say not only is phone service improved beyond measure but even the delivery was straight up and pleasant with no hassles”

“I always give this Tim Hortons thumbs up, they can handle the busiest lineups and get you through in no time. My orders are always right, food is always good, hot when it's supposed to be. And everybody is always friendly there.”

“We stop here on the way to work for a coffee and breakfast maybe once a week. We keep coming back because of the friendliest drive through server I’ve ever met. Muriel has the nicest smile and best service of any drive through. Have a great walk in the sunshine after work today.”
