I don't know what happened but the service and support is absolutely horrific.
since the pandemic we no longer receive the mailed coupons but rather all the promotionals are emailed. so I went into my local A&W for the $1 coffee and they said I had to download the app. I downloaded the A&W app only to find out I have to put all my credit card information on it. having been scammed online my financial institution does not allow me to put my credit card information online permanently.
the manager at the A&W was not willing to help me other than to say I had to drive to the head office in person and file a complaint.
As much as I do not like, McDonald's I guess that's where I'm going now.

We stop here on the way to work for a coffee and breakfast maybe once a week. We keep coming back because of the friendliest drive through server I’ve ever met. Muriel has the nicest smile and best service of any drive through. Have a great walk in the sunshine after work today.

It’s the best A&W on the island!We always stop here, going both directions (down to Victoria and up island). Their food is always fresh & HOT! We usually eat in our vehicle beside the little parking area beside this location. Great spot to sit at the picnic tables and let the little dog stretch her legs, and ours as well.
I stopped there for a Nashville chicken sandwich today, it took a long time to prepare, i heard voices from the kitchen to the counter complaining about communication. After a few minutes i was approached by a employee telling me they are making me fresh chicken. When i got the sandwich, i carried on down the highway, first bite was good, second bite my teeth met a frozen chicken breast. I called to complain and they offered a new sandwich next time i come in. A refund was not possible. I hope i dont get sick from the uncooked chicken. I wish 0 stars was a option.
