Chakalaka Restaurant and Market

They don't seem to care care about the health and safety of the general public. There is a pandemic going on and they don't seem to want to follow the rules . I do not recommend eating there. Stay away from that restaurant.

Fantastic staff, great service and delicious food. Never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe. It is a clean, well managed restaurant! 10/10 will eat here again!

This establishiment & related RV parking have had multiple fines and court injunctions imposed for ignoring public health orders during COVID. Use at your own risk.

Went with my husband and another couple, first time for all of us. The food was great and the owners added to our experience by being very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was perfect and we had a great time. We will be returning.

Another buisness owner that thinks he knows more than the doctors and health authority...money more important than peoples health...hope you are next for licence suspension and $2300 fine every day in violation.April 24Closed now... maybe should have followed law and health orders but you thought you could pick and choose what laws to follow!!!Now you can pay consequences of that decision. Karma.

What lovely place, the owners were wonderful and the food was fantastic! We enjoyed the sunset with wine and appies out in their beautiful patio.

I can’t get enough of their humus. It’s absolutely perfect every time. I like my humus to be garlicky and they don’t disappoint. Their own chakalaka chips go perfectly with the humus. Try it for yourself and see.We went to the dining room one night and my meal was prepared like a top chef. It was full of flavour. I forgot the chefs name but he is well worth the visit.

I have always enjoyed the food and have been many times but tonight they treated a friend of mine (in his 70s) poorly for wearing a mask (his first time there). You can have your beliefs but keep your business professional and respectful. I was the one who had recommended this restaurant to him and now neither of us will be going back.

DO NOT EAT HERE. They are anti maskers and have signs posted saying so.The food and service has always been horrid but now signs posted say no masks needed. We are in the middle of a pandemic!

The Borsh was amazing Hamburgers were very good! Staff are really nice super friendly.

Enjoyed the food, owners are fantastic, great place to experience freedom with kindred spirits.

The food is diverse and deliciousStaff is great. Who thought you can go to a Restaurant with a name like that and find all types of food. Fish and Chips,Korean Noodles,and Pouting. To top it off they were all delicious
